Two simple words
Have doomed Mother Earth:
“Plastic” and “Disposable”.
Two other words
Have sealed that fate:
“Slovenly” and “Uncaring”.

It's true..so sadly true.
I’m so tired I could drop
But I mustn’t go to sleep.
Vicious dreams are hiding
Just behind my pillowcase,
Waiting for the perfect time
To tell me I’m inadequate
And guilty of egregious sins
That doom my frantic efforts
To create a perfect life
And move across humanity
In ways that make things better.

My dreams are my worst enemy.

A path is seen
for the first time in life.
It is where I am me.
It is where I thrive
It is where I feel alive.
It is where I belong.

Run my child, please run
turn your back upon the sun
let the wind carry you home
where angels sing
and peace is known
dare to dream as dreamers do
face the old and embrace the new
for you will rise and crash like waves
because your heart knows not what it craves
be it love or be it lust
soon this world will turn to dust.
Every night in bed
Worry about future pain
Anger and sorrow

Two birds in love
Eagerly fly back to each other
Together again.

My Dear Poet

i live with myself
in the same house under
the same roof. I changed the
locks  on the doors
then  shut  me  out
and kept me closed
in by throwing out            the keys
