I told you I no longer loved you.
It was a white lie.
I loved you more than you could ever imagine.
I wasn't an idiot though, I saw the way you looked at her.
I felt you stayed because you were unsure; whether you loved me or her.
Either that or you were afraid of breaking my heart because I was the one who was always there for you; you were afraid of me leaving.
I couldn't take the pain of knowing you loved her the way you loved me.
So that night I let you go, I let the pain take over me entirely, so you could love her entirely.
I have found another love, but, you will always be the first.

- From the girl who never stopped loving you.

Whenever you feel sad, remember to look up and see the moon. Somewhere and someone is looking at it too. You are not alone
Always my note to myself

Whether you fall in love with a poem or not
greatly depends on how you read it.

I hope that a day comes when you see my name on the cover of a book.

Maybe you'll be in a store with your wife,
your eyes will catch a glimpse of the letters that spell who I am, but you'll pretend to have forgotten me.

Your wife will wrinkle her nose in disgust and shoot daggers into your back.

Later she would say she forgot something she didn't and run to the nearest store to buy my book and feverishly scan for your name.

Her name.

I can't say how she'd feel when it isn't your letters that appear in print, but your soul.

why they say

the heart is.

I have yet to be kissed
in a manner
so passionate and incandescent
that it has yet to leave my lips,
never to be forgotten.
