 Dec 2016 True Passion
GaryFairy
born with a halo shattered
human afterbirth in dirt
withered wings, feathers tattered
protrusions of pain and hurt

only an angel can be born
held by the devil's hands
flesh becomes hard, when its torn
only an angel understands
I wrote this a few years ago. I don't think I have posted it for a while
Our bodies are facing
The arms of dawn.
Conflicts of our skins
From night's reverie
Floating with fading purple.
Still lost in the depth of
Your starry mouth,
Particles of me
Merging into the universe.
Mingled thoughts
Under mingled fingers
Making galaxies crumbled
Time after time
Inside my closed eyes,
As I'm being washed by your
Warm luminosity.
I'm overwhelmed as Merged got selected as a daily poem. It means a lot to me. I'm grateful to all the poet-readers of HP. I wouldn't be able to achieve it without their support. Thanks a lot ❤
your eyes as an ocean
which I can sink in
every time I gaze at
I feel my bones burning
I found myself thinking
how my life is ending
ringing bells like singing
a goodbye as I'm leaving
I'm going to an end
to an end without you
up my way everything
turns into black and blue
hope is so far away
shades of blue turns to gray
there's nothing left to say
all I gotta do is" fade away
and never comeback again."
My love was too much
to stay alive
in such a life
2016/ 30/ 12
Facing backwards on this track of sunsets;
Straining to see the significance of each step.

How did I get here?

Chasing the scent of who I used to be;
Lacking definition, but I knew my meaning.
Change was imminent, yet I'd remain unique.
Now those days seem like the peak
of my potential.

A painful reminder of what I'll never know.

My present self resides
in the time between then and why.
Stuck in an infinite loop of what I didn't do;
The price to pay for a world without you.

Originally a trilogy,
this disbanded energy
effects my ability to see
beyond...
Rock-bottom
is a place
where strong warriors
display self-control -
by finding their ground
and picking themselves up - collected.
