Would you please
Look into my eyes
And entropy you will see
(you, distorting the spectrum of light,
Exploding all there is to me.)
Would you please
Inch your lips to mine,
And there just leave it be.
(just a stroke of lush
To sow the spring of kiss.
Ohs of delightful rush
To a cascading lovers’ bliss)
Would you please
Whisper…whisper
A word of touch.
Whisper…whisper
A love or too much
Whisper…whisper
To catch me breathless
Whisper…whisper
To keep me soulless
Would you please
Move in sync with me,
Let out a gasp of ecstasy,
And taste the thrilling mystery
Of yours and mines rhapsody.
Just a look, just a kiss
Just a touch to give me bliss.
One more stroke, one more wheeze,
One more…would you please.
Wendell A Brown Apr 2014
An interlude, quiet
Soft and lovely,
Full of a tender smile, yet
So much a part of life’s
Hidden joys

A magical essence that
Is lost yet found at the
Same moment in your smile.
And the magic prevails even
Against the night

…for you far outshine the
stars and the moon

A revolution goes on
Constantly within your
Eyes, causing a fire to
Daily rage

And its spark sets fire
To every living essence
Within me, and I know
That I love you

Realizing  my life’s song is
A tribute to your never
Ceasing devotion,  making
Its melody of love…

A rhapsody to my heart.
A song of love
