I am the moon that always keeps a part of herself hidden, but I am always the full moon for you.

the moon is pink
a hallucination
of spring-time beauties-
forever serenade my soul

the moon
with its lovely
lavender & white hues
adored like a bouquet of roses

it was my illusion,
a dreamer's fantasy
my lamb in the
darkness

it served as a guide
in a world
without much beauty-
enveloped in madness

the stars
gather around
like angels on a
distant heaven on earth

my dream
had only been
an accidentally
fatal glance

the moon could
never be pink
just a myth
i tried desperately

to believe

High up there, I glance at you
You hide again, sometimes peeping,
While I put aside
My worries for this day.
Waves and curves seem to shroud you
This early April  evening
Though you are perfectly rounded.
We watch each other,
You eye me down,
I look above, to you...
We speak in our silence,
With me, listening,
Offering all the warmth i could share with you,
For, your Ivory white light, is cold and distant
Unlike your warm yellow crescent
.........of some nights ago....

This evening, you awake in me
Dormant, unsettling thoughts,
I am confused, yet,
You show me a panoramic view of faces
They dwell in my mind as I gaze at you
But there is this brilliant one
That smiles beneath your moon glow
It stares me in the eye,
Speaks to me, without words...

My breathing evens out,
It becomes a melody
Because the time has arrived...
These few moments,
When restlessness drifts away
As you shine down on me
When impatience departs from me,
And I am calmed suddenly
And I don't know what else to think of...
For, this evening,
You, and this brilliant face have once again
........comforted me....
I am warmed, I am glad.
I am now smiling, looking up, at you,
My April moon, I bid you goodnight,
I am beaming, as silently...I thank you....

***not much to share, just a brief evening break, a short,
-wordless conversation, between the moon and me...***

Alas,
from this god
of night
and
a glowing light
Only words
of silence
both day
and night
Alas, his love
beams
come to me
loyal,
honest
and true
night
after night
after night,
after night
Alas, my words
of love
and
poetic verses
all penned
for his delight
this moon god
of love

luna, my love
my constant,
is he looking at you tonight too
Seher Seven Apr 2017
its a full moon tonight.
many will watch it in earnest,
wishing upon its light.

enjoying its momentary visit,
the way the evening is lit.
brightly, you see plants different.
the green is seen.

two AM in Europe now.
and they watch the full moons show.
we supposedly see reflections of it,
in the middle of the day,
of the full moon, we are seeing some
reflection "on the other side of the world".
while the glow is admired time zones away.

"its why iii love the moon".
its basic in what it says.
its communication is visual.
things are not as they seem to be,
the magic we are searching is out tonight.

my body pulses as I wait.....
reunion taking place. my energy
bubbles with anticipation.
your touch is soon to be here.
I smell the scent.

I used to stare at the moon
In wonder.

The size of a pencil eraser
And bigger than my head,
All at once.

It was magical.

Now I stare at the moon
With hatered.

Another day wasted,
Another 24 hours spent,
Another miserable night.

My possibilities are limited,
Weigheted down by finance
Shrunk by stress.

I am smaller than a pencil eraser
To the big, gigantic, moon.

didn’t care about
the moon
       ‘til I saw her
lunar skin
       didn’t understand
her eyes
       ‘til I saw the stars
within
       didn’t treasure her
fair feet
       ‘til they touched
Orion’s belt
       didn’t know about
the night
       ‘til she lit up
all I felt.

Tonight ,
Moon shines bright ,
Guides with its light ,
everyone lost.

Full moon beams
Illuminate the battered seams
In this otherwise perfect
Sea of dreams

A place where I am
Exposed as a drunken sham
As the moonlight sonata
Fills the airs empty bottle with a dram

A tragic fool
I must be a tool
For this grand orchestra
Oh how fate can be cruel

No one to blame
Except my want for fame
And here after the show
The winds shakes my weary frame

So as the lights go dark
And hades dogs bark
I have but one regret
That I never put a bullet
In my heart
