We all come from different walks of life
We all have our own demons to fight

Who am I to tell you what to do
Or what to say
Just be you and you’ll be great
You will find your own way

Life is like a maze
So many different paths to choose
Don’t be afraid of delays
You’ll meet so many people on the way
Embrace the path you decide to take
You can only get lost to find your way

Don’t follow somebody else’s path
This is your maze, you choose the tracks
So take charge and be who you want to be

peeled back eyelids
splay venous binding;
snake skin exoskeleton
though not brittle but
woven like rope
stretches its casket,

though tenuous, its
compound dimples
gaze as pupils not
sure where the
sun is meant
to be

I leave
a jilted shell -
afterbirth horror! -
as forgone lifebearer
so that by contract,
unspoilt to be ridden,

a progeny delights
in its own delicacy.
Where a flower advertises its sexuality, it is the child that comes to fruition and then barrenness through no fault of its own.
I'd silt there beside a barb wired fence
and once praised these vagaries again
then yesterday at daybreak
as aft-dew came this flow-r
and hit hers in between rows of attire
where her beauty was herd in raindrops today
and altogether was something very big
with milk and honey in a market of wares.
