We ditched class,
To go the park down the road,
We followed toe to toe,
Shadow to shadow.

To forget our troubles,
To forget our woas,
To forget education,
To forget our sorrows.

You probably think this is about a girl,
Though,
No.
I'm referring to my closest companion,
My alter-ego.

I tried to be good at something
But I ended up being a noting
I was smiling
Even though I felt like crying
I felt so alone
Like I was in this all on my own
I could only hurt myself
Because there felt like nothing else
I was lying and lying
No one knew what I was hiding
I wanted to die
And no one knew why
I'll just go to bed
And hope I wake up dead

Would you care if I ended it all tonight,
Left just like that, out of sight?
My demons are screaming at me to attack,
And this time I'm not going to fight back.

God knows you've been the muse of all mine."

Getting attached to someone
