Yes, it's true, Earthlings,
One of life's strangest things,
No one is alone,
God sent viruses to make us moan,
With influenza, no one is alone,
I'm full of germs a'breeding,
Cotton wool legs are a'pleading,
The virus is procreating,
Here I flake, incubating,
One of life's strangest things,
God sent us viruses to make us moan,
No one is alone, no?
Tongue kiss, anyone, no?????
Feedback welcome.

BLUE* oceans I see
Waves DANCE perpetually
Feel HER gravity
Em, this is your haiku (I admit defeat) ... (smiles) ... congrats!!!
She used to be
A full moon,
But now she's only half,

She used to be a bubbly little explosion,
But now she can barely laugh.

She used to be a bright, sparkly,
Shiny little star,
Hanging in a pitch-black sky,

But now she's but a shooting star
Falling from way up high.

She used to be on-top of the world,
Until it came crashing down,

The ground beneath her steardy feet
Was stolen by an evil clown.

She used to be a carefreee,
Lively girl -
Loving endlessly,

Now she's but a hopeless fool
Crying and dying
On the inside -
Daily and nightly.

Nothing stays the same!
We can only pray
And try to stay strong.

God bless anyone who is hurting -
Anyone feeling alone!
girl -
your silence tears upon me
a savage beast mute
for in your intermittent groans on gusts of ire
masked in murmurs curt
seepage coarse, acrid leaks

girl -
tell me straight, hide not my fate
your real intent upon these clouds benign
for when the heat of marinated fury bursts
erupts one day on bowed head sad
intent on living life in peace

girl -
will it ruin times of joy we knew
bursts of copper, gold and red
no separation there but alchemy of spirits free
so what is it that ails you friend
arms folded eyes aflame in chilled blind rage
I know this girl from Texas
Who rustles up smiles for free
Feels like home on the range
With lasso in hand
Pretty as you please

Warm and comfortable as a campfire
Wild as a coyotes howl
God was right in his choice
Giving her an angels voice
Mixed in with a Southern draw

There's a mischievousness to her roundup
Like that of a rouge rodeo
Playing life's full hand
From sunrise to sunset
This girl from Texas that I know

Traveler
I hid within my shadow world
And held my breath too long
These holes within are empty parts
Where your memories belong

I saw you in the distance
I know you saw me too
I turned my head and walked away
I think I'm turning blue
