Roses are red
Violets are blue
Everyone is much
Happier than you
Because you don't
Know how to move on
Despite the fact
That she's long gone.
I can't decide on a title.
I am a wave
free
free as freedom
Away
from human boredom
free as a bird
but in a cage
with no bars
Trapped
In this free cage
It is the only place
To rest with freedom
The cage of freedom
with no materialistic
nature
Now I am the
Cage
Because I am
my cage

The End

Sometimes I wonder if this will be the cause of my demise. I cannot fathom such an incessant desire to see the good in all things; grant nations the benefit of doubt. I am blind to all but intent, intrinsic nature, and heart. I create euphemisms out of people.

Oh, you

All day and through the blue hours of night,
I pray to the one who made you; body and soul.

I ask God to invade your spirit
To show you Love and how much you're worth
On my knees I pray for the Lord to open your eyes

So you know..
This kind of love.. His and mine- are borne of light.

My love for you surpasses even my own understanding.
Just as God's Love does too.
I pray through the night that you, Angel, may know it too.

Being with you is not easy
We've had our fair share of arguments and fights
But honestly being without you is a billion times more difficult
A moment without you just doesn't feel right
I'd rather be with you than spend a lonely night
And so I will fight for us and work with you till the end of time
You're my everything....

I'm hoping for rain on a clear sky day
I guess the optimist in me is really putting his reputation at stake

I can see just the one solitary star in the sky tonight
Perhaps it wanted some time alone with the moon
I wonder what they both might be talking about...

People may come and go from your life
But your words will always be with you
They'll never betray you
Sometimes they might catch a flu
But till the very end they will stick with you

Rose
I can fly with birds of sorrow,
I can fly with twisted wings.
I can fly like there’s no tomorrow,
I can sing like many springs.

People are but lonely birds,
Calling, calling, to be heard,
By other birds, by anyone,
Yet each bird keeps flying on.

Not ever pausing, to stop and hear
A lonely voice, calling dear,
The voices are lost, the voices are found
In the sound of the song, the song of the sound.

But I can fly on lonely waters
And stop to sing with lonely souls,
I can linger on the frontier,
And stop to sing, all alone.

I can soar above the clouds
Watching for someone worth singing with
Watching for someone in the crowds
A singer of songs, a legend, a myth.

But the sky is still grey, so bleak and dark,
Of blackness and unwanted things,
So I fly, as lonely as a lark,
Singing alone, on whispered wings.
