Rough wind on my lips
but no words will stay
I think my poem blew away

your smile hangs crookedly
like a broken arm
no matter how shattered some things become, they are still persistent in existence.

Once, you bloomed with reckless grace,
soft petals blushing in love’s embrace.
The wind would sigh your fragrant name,
as morning light adorned your frame.

Held in hands that trembled sweet,
pressed to lips where longing meets.
A whispered promise, a fleeting vow,
yet time has traced you different now.

Your crimson fades, your petals fall,
but love once touched you—that is all.
For though you wilt in golden dusk,
you lived, you loved, and that’s enough.

Leaping from branches
Sending the water droplets
In the air like rain
Haiku with inspiration drawn from tree frogs!

The mist rests gently upon the water’s surface,
where the fireflies flash like sets of blinking eyes
Long leaves of willow hang down, motionless
as an owl cries above, illuminated by the moon
