Soltitude II
Arrow Jan 2021
She wants you to talk to her
But she won't talk back
She wants you to ask to hang out
But she'll come up with an excuse to stay home
She wants to get better
But she won't put in the efforts
Manisha Uniyal Sep 2015
Me- come near me
Why do you fear
I will write sweet
And will try to be clear

Paper- you liar
You'll draw circles
Until I die in pain
Roll in to ***** and straight
in to drain

Me- No dear friend
I Shall explain love
And soltitude and discuss
pain
Or probably it's easy to write
about rain

Paper- my destiny
Is in your hands
I shall rot in dustbin
Or shine on wall in a golden
frame

Me- muses are resting
At a far away land
Till then bear my friend
If I write anything insane

Where are you dear muses, come back to me.
ghost Dec 2020
Sitting, looking out the window,
only me and the darkness
waiting on the Christmas sun.

Wondering what is next to do –
the sun doesn’t fix the solitude.
Maybe I will just go out and run.

Run forever, until I find
the mystery at the edge of the earth,
keep running ‘til I’m done.

A path of monk with a vow of soltitude,
Soul gone astray with an enchanting smile,
Earthly desires bloom as I abandon journey,
Curse my soul for an illusion stole it .

Crushed leaves in brisk footfall,
Shatter in soltitude in hectic crowd.
The broken dreams in swift society,
Weep in daylight , transparent to eyes.

i stare at the sun in soltitude
and i let it consume me
while my feet are burning on the sand
and my skin is sunburned
a tear escaped my eye
when i implored for a change
i can merely hope
things don’t go the way i planned
for there’s yet so much to see
and our time is brief

so i’ll just keep walking
and with every step
dust kicks up in the air
one day i hope to escape
this lunar landscape
