When the sun rises
And you put on your slippers
Say hi to the trees
Especially now it's winter I bet there missing there leaves ::)

Out of stardust from the sea
More than what we thought we'd be
We've come do far from sinew and bones
To our new computerized homes
Each time any tries to step back from nature
It pulls back, luring us closer
For as much as we live in this space
It lives in us, in every place

I've chewed all the skin off my finger tips
My finger nails are stubs
The inside of my cheeks are ******
Hmm what the hell is next
Yeah I could've probably written a nice poem with a vague metaphor but lol nah

Weighted steel tugged by gravity,
A mile above this tranquil house–
its payload designed so carefully–
is yet unreleased from the mouth,
for there is danger involved:
I’ve hung Pandora’s box
And it, wont to fall,
Damns as it drops.
slowly swells desire–
a bloodlust is taking hold
for a world entombed in Fire.
The image of a once happy home
Brought with only a directed word
to dissolve into shadowed foundation,
Encouraged by petty quarrels endured,
Matures to become a palpable creation –
resentment resides within every thought
and fiery images are fanned ‘til they fuse
In a flash into sound, suddenly brought
On a table within a voluminous brew
of word, sentence, and ireful mind,
And the room is left in silence.
In the wake I stand, alone,
uttering penitence.

Steeper hill
and darker valley,
descending to climb
new disaster after another,
ricocheting from high to low
the tunnels whisper you are a fighter
as you’re up for air, grinning with a migraine.

Echoes of the shouts of down
fade as you crest a tidal wave,
                                           and in these weightless moments
you built a home, a whole life,
you fell in love over and over
and carved strength from the iron
that allowed you down once again.

                                Rational heartbeat of the never-ending
keeps your will steel and your eyes hot,
but when tunnels whisper I see an end
it is easier to smile at comforts
and it is okay to be scared
  on a rickety roller coaster
with an expiration date.

It's not about
you
necessarily
but it is about
the words
and the patterns
arising every single
day with new
old thoughts
and speculations
over the nature of
everything
and we call it poetry
endlessly repeating
ourselves for that
ever out-of-reach
notification bubble
bright red like a heart
to show us we are loved
by strangers
and I can't stop craving
the flavor of that
particular
carrot we call
validation
because all words
and thoughts
need an appreciative
audience

Our problem about love
Is that it never has a corner to
Be protected in
I've seen u around in unfamiliar
Places
So  I kicked u to the side
