Being in love with my day dreams
Is much easier
Than being in love with someone
Because while my body may yearn to be held in another's arms
My heart will never have to feel disappointed again
They tell me that she's dumb
They tell me I'm much prettier
I spew hateful words about a girl I've never met
And a boy a I used to love

But the truth is
None of it makes me feel any better
Because it doesn't bring you back
It will never make you mine again

Àŧùl
I had only started recovery
After that inglorious accident
That I was faced with a seeming
Herculean task at hand as student
When I was to tackle ten exams
An attempt with forgetfulness
I broke no sweat in doing it
Impossible - what's that?
My HP Poem #1388

the other day
I occupied a chair
at a sidewalk café
watching the vanity fair of the quotidian
float by in quickly changing apparitions

an endless flow of different ages, nations, fashions,
skin colors, miens, ****** expressions, postures & gaits
kept passing through  my field of vision

it made me wonder why
some people get so furious
when they  just hear about
    not even meet
    the ‘others’ different from themselves
that they start dropping  bombs and shooting rockets

I think they rather should be curious
and eager to discover
how the immense variety of humankind
can help expand a locally grown mind

and recognize
that we are all of the same kind
What use is sleep when your spirit
And perhaps your heart,
Have surrendered to a power that you could not resist if you wanted.
The fire is lit anew and the engines,
Stoked as high as they ever have been,
Very rarely.
Forget sleep!
You can take sleep and stuff it!
We're running this train at full steam now boys!
We're plowing through,
Day and night,
Brick and mortar!
We're not stopping!
So you take your sleep,
And forget it.
Little rusty, but I may be back folks!
