Spreading his mystic chart of zodiac signs, cowrie shells
And the writings on palmyra palm leaves in his hand
An outflow of astrological destiny of the landlord
Kik kik kik kik sounds the house lizard
The astrologer confirming the death of the man
Predicting an accident after a day
Exhaling his last breath of disbelief
With fear of mystical belief pushing his destiny
Before a day of astrologer's prediction !

Standing like a fried potato
Turning black spitting out smoke
By the red flaming words of fire
No spatula to take me out
From the evil pan of teacher
Taken by the chief of hands
Thrown out into the garbage
Making me a burnt potato
Way to the washroom of sink
Back to her class of stove
With a clean nefarious smile

Waiting to hear from you
Handling me delicately
With your words from heart
Filled with love for me
Responding with a hello
Is better than a silence
Showing a bundle of hatred
And when I get a call
I hear you talking with
No heed to converse
Getting irritated with
The sweet voice which
You loved much before
Controlling my tears
Not to fall for the one
Who doesn't care
To love me anymore

Anger and tears get ready to burst out like volcanoes
When I hear a beep sound of the telephone
From the other side to whom I am talking to
Just because of not being the one to agree with him
Wish me to get a chance to do so
But not being a person of holding grudges
Pouring out my anger through poetry of words
To free my mind from doing it so!

Don't rush to my seat of being a Boss
Climbed here facing consequences,
Poverty, failures and obstacles
Try to do something different
And be someone unique
Leaving behind of becoming someone who exists
Be your own Boss to meet your goal

Travelling a long way to a hill-top
From where I can get the vision of
The beauty of God's creations
Black and grey mountains
Standing like body guards
The sun peeping out
Behind the mountains
Clouds moving gracefully
Trying to touch the hills
Running waters of the rivers
Spreading its fragrance on small rocks
Ground of green grass where
Boys grazing cattle of cows
Yachtsman in his boat singing
Songs about the beautiful rivers
On his way back to home
Old woman sitting under a Banyan tree
Tiring from her day's work of selling buttermilk
Sun hiding slowly behind the hills
Allowing the moon to shine
Forest fires lit at night like stars on a hill-top
By the people of the country side
Was lost in the world of sleep
In my home of hill-top tent
Thanking God for this beautiful heaven!

Love birds were they
Tamed in different cages
She, in the cage of caste
He, in the cage of cachet
Never did the owners knew
Holding hands together
Can bring them both
The caste and cachet
Adding the pith of love
Lack of courage in facing it
Love birds surrender
Themselves to death
