I've been living in my bed
Staring at the ceiling
Waiting for the bed room door to open
It's cold under these blankets
When are you coming home?
I lost my head somewhere along the way
Some place between "forever" and "goodbye"
This morning I heard you whisper "I love you"
So my stomach turned over
And I stopped breathing before I closed my eyes
So they could meet yours
Soft and sweet
The warmest hazel I ever bathed in
The xanex carried me to you
I told you we'd meet in our dreams
That's where I'm home
