Step out of
your frigid bones.
Break into blossoms.
Snow-bells and crocuses.
Tentative daffodils.
Spring arrives
outlining a new world
and all that might imply.
Who proctored the marriage
of water and shore , filled
the morn with songbirds of
every color , placed top water dancers , filled the murky depths with
magic and romance , aligned the trees
along her shining banks just so ,
adjusted her loving tributaries , calculated
their timely flow , created crawfish , shell ******* ,
rock bass and channel cat ,
pink and blue flowers , otter and muskrat
Who drew men into blue eyes , focused their
gaze into March sky , placed their naked feet
in her cool dominion , created a love never ending* ...

Amid morning chaos
eyes that won't open
and certainly won't shut
I
    see
             you.
A not so distant memory
still vibrant
edges barely fading.
I can still taste your kisses
like a light spring shower -
the calm before
the ensuing storm.
Every
            inch
                       of
                              you
Aflame in memory
a fire too hot to extinguish
yet I am not wholly consumed.
You stole my mind
before you acquired my heart.
A
     love
               like
                        that
irreplaceable.
Les mots pour mon amour <3
I heard my mother's song,
Sounds of breakfast,the kitchen radio,
Smell of bacon on the rattling stove,
Heard the slapping wood and wire screen door.

Window open to the sounds of birds:
Liquid flute-songs of meadowlarks,
Chirruping robins on the lawn,
Raucous coughing calls of crows,
The rooster bragging out his strutting call.

Breezes lifted the wet scent of sod,
The ever present smells of earth fresh tilled,
And musty odors of last year's hay.
Life on the farm moving twilight to day...
Everything conspiring to call me to play.
Breaking a mirror won't bring financial ruin,
Unless you keep breaking them.

Carrying a rabbit's foot is just weird.
Ask the rabbit.

If you walk under a ladder,
You're ringing the wrong rung.
Enrol in a Health and Safety seminar.

If a black cat crosses the path of your vehicle,
Swerve,
You might clip it.

Pulling wishbones.... see Rabbit's Foot.

Bad news comes in threes,
And fours, fives...

You can bang on my wood anytime.

Lucky pennies don't exist in Canada.

Spilling salt is safe, and cheap.
If the price increased 1000%,
We'd still buy and spill.

Wishing on stars, candles and such
Is like holding air in your hands.

If you find a four-leaf clover,
Use EPA approved **** killer.

Don't step on a crack,
Don't sell crack,
Don't smoke crack.

Good Luck!
There are no pennies at all in Canada. Done away with and for good reasons. We all know $9.99 is $10.00. Well in Canada, so is $9.98 and $9.97. We have advanced math here. $9.96 is now $9.95, but so is $9.94 and $9.93. You can figure out the pattern. It works well, and we save millions at the mint, and the tailor's.
Who knows all the right answers
Though intelligent may be...
Who knows all the right questions
