Jobie
said we'd see the world
but soon realized
we'd already seen too much

underwater french kissing
to cope with the pain
of living and dying

our boat's the last thing
to see us off
dunno where it'll crash

face down
our bodies float at sea
lifeless and loveless

I want to slow dance with you again
Watch the dim light mask your skin in the twilight
To feel your hazel gems as they waltz into bliss.
How ignorant one can be when all they see is you.
****** but let me be soppy

When the tears finally fall.

They will fall harder than any
summer rain I have ever danced in.

They will roll like rivers
down my face.
I will fall into those raging rivers
pouring from my eyes
and gasp for air as I begin to drown.
in the overwhelming feeling
that we
made a mistake.

I will swim to the surface
and cry out
for you .
But I won't be able to
hear you over the
cracking thunder
of my
thoughts.

They will fall harder
than I did for you

yes

The tears will inevitably fall.
But only
after I have convinced myself
that I no longer love you.
no longer need you.
But I do.

You may not feel like reaching out,
   Or talking much these days,
So I’ll reach out from the other side,
Like clouds letting through sun rays.

Each beam of light is aimed at you,
To warm your heart and face,
Your shadow shows the proof of this,
Like a silhouette that you could trace.

          Just absorb the energy,
             No reflection is required,
          Just     absorb     the     energy,
             And in yourself, become inspired.

Lift up your head with eyes wide open,
See the people who look your way,
Each one has been uplifted, simply,
With your sun rays in their day.

CommonStory
Diamonds are forever
Because they're carbon
And we're carbon

She wants to last forever
But she's going on 37

Honey I feel your pain
as my strength will wax and wane

That's why diamonds last forever
Because they're carbon
Heated carbon

She wants to smile forever
But today she's sad as ever

That's why diamonds are forever
Because they're carbon
Under pressure

Darling close your eyes
And smile one more time

And honey I feel your pain
As my joints begin to pain

That's why diamonds are forever
Because they're hardened

She just wants to remain beautiful
But that's a shallow pool to swim

And honey I feel your pain
As my love brings sorrow again

That's why diamonds are forever
Because they're diamonds
And we're diamonds

She just wants to learn
And that's no one else's concern

And honey I feel your pain
As I stitch my scars again

And that's why diamonds are forever
Because they're diamonds
And we're

She just wants to take her time
And not be crowded by the lies

And honey I feel your pain
But I don't want to waste my time aga in

And that's why diamonds are forever
Because they're diamonds
And we're dying

Bitterness:
Harbouring a slight
Within one’s heart.

Forgiveness:
Covered up with white
Time to restart.
This was inspired by my own bitterness towards someone who is, to say the least, highly inconsiderate. I've been trying to forgive her for more than two years now, and it's still not working. I actually thought that I had forgiven her, at one point, but then she proved herself to be just as bad, if not worse, than she used to be. She's just one of the several reasons I'm not a huge fan of people . . .
The stars in the sky,
Pinpoints of light,
Cold, hard,
Brilliant, bright,
Diamonds, fire,
They last forever,
The royal court,
Of the indigo sky,
Their queen, the moon,
Sometimes shy,
Sometimes bold,
Sometimes she hides,
But she is always there,
With her face so fair,
To watch o'er us,
Everywhere.

In the darkness
we see the stars

In Our worst of moments
the dawn of Hope is obscure

Yet even then to persevere
for God is near and never far
Waiting to be acknowledged
for the life given and
the life restored

Even in that
the darkest moment
When the tide
sweeps all away

The lowest ebb
is the turn of the tide
unto the break of
a brand new day

It's so much colder
and the night is darkest
in the final moments
just before dawn

As God stands on
there beside you
And you He has
once again saved.

"In all thy ways
acknowledge Him
and He shall
direct thy paths"

Be my castle
Chase away the demons
Make me your queen
Love them less than me
Make me the chandelier
Make me as expensive as the prettiest ruby
