Summer child

Oh, my sweet
summer child,
with your golden smile
and that glimmer in your eyes.

I admire you,
maybe even envy
your blinding sun,
that hurts my tired eyes.

Your sun-kissed
picture frame face
exudes such joviality
but at a pace

With undulating curls
that unfurl around
your shimmering face,
yet still hold place.

How does it feel
to be God’s favorite?
I wonder,
how you smile with such grace.
I hardly think about you
Except when the music plays
And I realize that no one else
In the whole wide world
Knows the lyrics
But us...
Once or twice a day is not that much, after all...

like the things
that you said
(A short poem/mantra of self-love and hope for all on hellopoetry that are going through difficult times. You matter!)

To live in his embrace
To feel his body pressed against mine
Was pure heaven to treasure
Top-tier magic to bask in
Bossman-drip that appealed to me
God-tier allure that conquered me

I was so boy-crazy, boy-spacey
Boy-tipsy, in too deep with his
Block-blessed bewitching beauty
His manliness was felony-grade freshness
Heavenly made sexiness
Dreadhead greatness
Mantastically sexalicious
Smooth, dreamy, and unmatchable

He was more than fine
He was Category 5 fine
Explosively mind-blowing fine
Biceps-worthy breathtakingness
Thirst-trap certified delightsomeness

I was stranded in his city-slick heat
Sizzling in the enchantment
Of his heavy-loaded dopeness
So fully smoking hot
His cologne was my home
His untamed swinging pipe
Was my playground I was bound to

I drowned in his passionate pronouns
Of astounding awesomeness
Every “yo,” every “what’s good,”
Every head-nod was a slow jam vibe
That danced in my mind

I loved the way he smelled
So enchanting, so masculine to the max
Exquisite, ripped, and glistening
My hella flexxy *** king
He was where I wanted to be
For now, for later, for every season
That follows the next

He was swagtastically splashy
Flex-for-days freshness
Sauce-blessed perfection
Main-stage magnetic magnificence
Too-clean-to-resist dreaminess

I drowned in his hot boy charm
Lost in the heatwave
Of ****-daddy-dynamic enchantment
My blow-my-back-out dreamboat
I was stranded in his luscious-laced captivatingness
No filter, full-force, all in

Swallowed whole by his dope *** vibe
He had me floating in his glowing love
Strung out on his power-pumped
Thugged-out hunkiness
Hooked on his boss-babe fine design
Wrecked by his cosmic icon-bodied machoness

I was his, deep down, destiny-sealed
Wrapped in him, swag-sloshed
Thirst-trap delirious, daddy-drunk
Attached to him and no one else
For as long as the ocean sang
And the sky smiled at me

He had me daddy-dizzy
Thirst-trap twisted
Drenched-in-him drunk
Man-dazed, swag-slammed
Emotion-oozy, soul-staggered
Drowning in his heavily loaded flex game

I was so spellbound, so love-wrecked
So boy-lit to the fullest extent
By his astoundingly incredible beauty
My freshalicious dreadhead
He made me feel deeper than gay
Deeper than boy-crazy
Boy-fried in the hottest, wildest way

He had that kind of handsomeness
That hijacked my life and dreams on sight
Made me call out sick
Because I was so **** blitzed
On his flex-blessed perfection

With broad, chocolate chest
So edible and delectable
A creative canvas for me
To lay my face on
And embrace his machoness
For every breath I took
For as long as my soul
Glowed queer and proud unapologetically

I love you enough
to give you my life –

but not enough
to surrender my freedom.
