Take the time
To notice the finer smaller things in life
The smallest things are equal to the largest scales.

let beauty never cease
for when the sun expires and
its burning core no longer churns
when the epitaph is inscrutable and
no remnants of words or sounds or love persist
the everlasting emptiness of what
used to be
shows the truth more beautiful than ever
before
If I were to care
More
It would hurt

If I were to care
Less
I would go numb

If I were to hide away
From pain
I would grow pale

If I were to run
From people
I would grow old

If I were to love you
I would become scarred

If I were to hate you
I would fill with holes

If I were to leave you
I would have to start over

I’d be left
Staring at myself

A mayfly lives
But one day

Flying
Dancing

Loving
Dying

All in a single
Day

i've forgotten how we used to be
before we fell off track

it seems like all i do these days
is just keeping looking back

and i know that we were together
but that didn't last forever

i want to go back in time
to hold on to you
for just one more song

then i'll leave you in the past
where you belong

and i'll stop writing old love songs
What was it like?
The fight?
Well I’d say it was like…
Eowyn valiantly facing off with the Witch King
It was like Obi Wan flinging droids around with the flick of his hand
It was like saying “Hi” to Scarface’s friends
It was like the feeling Shrek got when he saved Fiona
It was like the moment when we first realize Scar will betray Mufasa
It was like watching the Joker toy with Batman’s head
It was like watching King Leonidas **** Persians in slow motion
It was like John McClane actually dying
It was like the green burst of light from Voldemort’s wand
It was like…
It was like…
It was like ******* off the Don on the day of his daughter’s wedding subsequently forcing the Don to leave a horse head in your bed.
Woah dude, that’s too far. The fight between Timmy and Johnny at recess was not like that.
I was born to be somebody.
I was born to excel.
I was born to enjoy all the things I do well.

I was born to be somebody.
I was born to be proud.
I was born to write poetry to be spoken at loud.

I was born to be somebody.
I was born to live life.
I was born to be a mother, and a friend, and a wife.

I was born to be somebody.
Who were you born to be?
I was born to be somebody; I was born to be me.
