i felt no fear
as the snake moved toward me

beside me
i walked with it

and saw it to the hole in the gutter
it climbed down calmly and went on its way

i still look for it
but have not seen it since

i fear something in this world
found it

and did not understand
such beauty
A moment, long ago, so vivid, so utterly vivid.
That tiny moment, in time, when everything in life,
Coalesced to an instant of perfection.

When she laughed and tossed her auburn hair,
Her lovely face, framed in scattered sunshine
Filtered through brilliant, Autumn leaves.

The very air, crisp with a freshness,
Emblazoning the gloriousness of the surrounding
Vaulting, snow clad, high peaks.

This moment, worth more than a year of mundanity,
More than a lifetime of ordinariness.....
Shone with a graceful and unique radiance.

A brilliance, forever remembered, forever treasured.

Words By: Melancholy Of Innocence
A place where love awakens with silent truth un-binding

A breath a speechless word whispered by an eye's caress
anchored deep within inside my naked soul's undress.
Here lies the force of my love, in truth I must confess,

I am a butterfly in flight, a rose drenched in morning dew
awakened by your innocence I cannot help but love you
Like the flowers need the rain, I need you too

One touch one blink and this moment turns to air
softer than perfume gentler than a whisper barely there
Like stars of heaven, you're beyond compare !!!
As nightmares subside
at dawn, your eyes
reflect the fear and the
pain.
They spill a desire to try.

Please try.

You can walk in the
rain without an umbrella
and let the clover and
honeysuckle guide you
to safety.
Evict the chaos from
your thoughts, and
leave the incubus behind.

Twilight speaks to me
The whispering of serenity
A sky so still
It heals me

A soul so sad
A lonely feather falls
The sea begins to calm
I wipe my tears
The mask slips on
Don’t let them see me cry
He beckons me forth,
my sanded toes dusted like candied fruit,
ready to be washed clean
by the delicate froth of white salted foam.
The hush of his tide brushes my bones,
black glass whispers,
rhythmic charm,
his fingers, luminous,
glint blue as he parades the coast,
curling around my ankles.
The moon sways,
singing silvered lullabies
rocking the earth
so that he sloshes, just so,
like the tilt of a glass
to your lips.
How could you not want to take
just one long, slow, sip?
I long to taste the briny wonder of that deep,
to float upon belonging.
The wind crests over the rolling water,
wrapping me in his cashmere grip,
damp earth, the raw green of kelp,
and butterscotch,
as if the sun had spun sugar
from his sweetness on the shore of day
and left it here in the breeze of night
to cool.
I wade into that ink,
assured by the calm and the air's friendly warmth
until I am marine to my middle.
My lips part in tendered sigh,
for at last, I feel I have found home,
but then, the sweeping of my heart
becomes the sweeping of my feet from under me.
I am dragged along the floor,
waves undulating viciously,
taking the whole of me with merciless desire.
His currents replace my breath,
my thoughts circling,
as if swirling into the drain,
I wanted to be a siren,
and didn't realize the sea was he.
