how many times
I've curled the edges
of that holy mouth

how many flutters
almost caved the roof
on that blood-red lockbox

how many times we've climbed
each other's walls, coming down
on soft dew clouds
inside your mind

and
how many times

you held yourself shaking
when I wasn't there

these things matter
to me

and I wish
I could overlay

my parallel trend line

impressions
shapes
and sounds,
the shady-lane
trees,

the yellow
balloons
of the skies
icy arctics,
the pink
feathers of
the soil.

surreal as the
shifting day,
turquoise and
angular, bright
sky drowned
in the cold, brisk
air, language
of love and air,
base note of love.

love, impressions of
light and dark,
soft brush stroke
of sea-blue, air
the colour of
lips.

witching night,
darkling clouds
pressed to the sky,

love, settling like
a mist.

sweet lips
sipped,
incredible
sky of our
dreams,
drawn close
like the
pillowy clouds.

Well it would take me centuries
Sitting silent on endless balconies
Questioning the whats and whos and hows of me
Lying still on sturdy bows of trees
Reading through perfectly posed symphonies
Twenty six letters making all this poetry
Oh how they take ahold of me
And all of you, authors of this poetry
So distant and naive
Unknowingly knowing me
Unknowingly holding me

Promises should be set in stone
Not whispered in the wind to be blown
.... to a place where they cannot be reached

One day you will regret us parting
You will remember all the memories you erased
The lost time will start hurting
But it will all be too late

We sing the song of a broken heart
Hoping it would mend
When your life has blown apart
And we can't see the end

Feel the sun upon your skin
And remember you are alive
Slowly life will start again
I promise you will survive

Dear Future Ez,

kind, calm, gentle Ez,
look back at the way you are feeling
right now,
on this empty train with your headphones in,
no care for anything else.
Now take that feeling and swallow it so it can flow to your heart.
