Hello

Hello Autumn,

it's been one whole year since I've last seen you

So you're back

but she's not
If you'll be the knife that helps out my fork
I'll be the South that holds up your North
If you'll be the teeth that bite my tongue
Then perhaps I won't say anything dumb

If you'll be the branch where I hang my leaf
I'll be the wave that stirs your wanting sea
If you'll be the want and I'll be the need
We'll both be the love on which we both feed

If you'll be the light that takes over my dark
I'll be the beat inside of your heart
If you'll be the end to my fresh start
Then we'll both be the now to where ever we are
Have you ever chanced upon a poem
In which you stopped and cried
Never knowing the reason why
This one poem turned your life

So much so you took the poem
And turned it into song
In which the world all sang along
Righting all its wrongs

Where the essence of this one poem
Poured out the sweetest melody
One in which the birds did sing
Bringing on an early spring

All from this one poem
That you chanced upon that day
Bringing to your life a change
Over what it had to say

This applies to every single one of you. No matter how little you may believe you are worth, I swear to you, you are worth more, way more than you could ever imagine, in your wildest dreams. You are worth the same as those you value most, that girl with the body you aspire yours to be like, those people that you envy for being so naturally beautiful, your closest friends, your family. You are worth every piece of happiness, hope and health. I promise. You are not a diagnosis or a statistic, defined by criteria, percentiles and numerical figures, no. You are so much more. You are more than the inches around your waist, the abs on your stomach, the lbs that creep up and down on the scales, the self defeating thoughts, the highlighting of your insecurities, the constant regrets.
You are the air you breathe, the laughter that slips between your lips, the fight that you said you had ran out of months ago. The love you share and feel, the smiles that sweep across your face, those moments where happiness feels so close that you can almost taste it. You are daylight, the sun, nightlife, clubs and music and drunken confessions. You are a shining star, the scent of your favourite perfume, your most treasured memories crammed into ink and squashed between frames.

Never doubt that you are more.

Not so much a poem, but i wanted you all to know that you are more.
I got whacked by Jack Kerouac
While reading one of his poems
A certain line stepped out of time
Before I knew what was going on

He took my mind up the mountainside
Then tossed my imagination off of it
Leaving me to write in free flight
And as of yet I haven't quit

I loved you like there was no tomorrow...
there wasn't
Life's reflection glistens through sands of time.
Days past due reunite with our current days disguise.

We glimmer in the false light portraying us to our knees.
Reaping such qualities turns our words to disease.

Acquisitions conquer minds through solid demise.
Leading hearts of hate to realise.

We are our own living destruction.
Believing such theories brought through subduction.

We replenish the rot of our personality.
To feast off our remaining qualities.

Together we fail united we'll fall.
Through the eyes of evil till death do us all.
