I'm back in the valley
where the screens have fallen out the windows
now and
the cicadas
sing like a choir
and you're their God

I've resigned to loving
you,
             endlessly

I got drunk on the sweetest brew.
Took a trip with the sight of you.
Your skin, so brown, warm and inviting.
Your smile so very enticing.
Blue dream, just you and me.
head high.
Youre my ecstasy .
Euphoric, impossible to ignore.
Incomparable.

my name is depression
and i will drag your soul across your bedroom floor and hear you scream for help

my name is depression
and i will dig every blood vessel out of your heart until you are bare and empty, cold and silent

my name is depression
and i will run down your face as you try and explain the demon inside of you to people who do not understand

my name is depression
and i will eat your laughter, run my hands down your happiness and choke you with my scrawny fingers as you beg for air

my name is depression
and i will walk you home tonight, crawl into your bed and sit next to you as you contemplate your fall down this 23 storey building

my name is depression

*and i won't stop

it's my fault
i was too careless
and brought my
precious items
it's my fault
i got mugged

it's my fault
i was too daring
that i wore so-called
provocative clothing
it's my fault
i got *****

it's my fault
that i got preyed upon
it's my fault
i became a victim
i got mugged just the other day, and this is just what i felt and also what i see in society. just to let off some steam.
nearing time

a ring of stars told me the future is
the sea that you try to grasp with
your broken hands and the past will
not be changed it is stained with rust
and flotsam as your inside ebbs like
the mossed ruin in the dunes as salted
grass fails to grow as the wind shakes
the waves you are alone and alone
