It was the perfect picture
for the last day of fall :
Pale blue skies
cotton candy clouds
warm golden fields of hay
cropped close to the ground
glowing in the crisp sunlight

I've killed that old flame
felt so ashame, I'm to blame
i left to pursue nothing
it kept me running
please, lend me something
a little bit of hope
for me live on and to cope

i wish i never killed you
left you there
    in the darkness's hue
i wanted to write something good i hope but it becomes depressing when you dive directly into the darkside on how you killed your own dream.
Southern winds soothe the pines
Pitch sap oozes from the trees
There's the lap of tanic water
on the shores of lake

.
Takes more than gentle waves
to endow a restless sea
More than all the stars to make up eternity
.
A journey starts with a  first step
Then it takes many more to come
And when you've finally arrived at your destination
you feel empty , defeated
dumb
.
You were never promised a tomorrow
Today will always be your last
You will be who you are in the future
depending upon your past

his sun rose when she opened her eyes
dispelling at last his years of dark night
bringing bright light back into his life

she smiles, his heart sings

her laughter sends his mind dancing
a contagious lightness in her glance
a quiet regality in her stance

his light
Four men I don't see in the market.

We stopped just short of smiles
we were always about to begin a conversation
we told each other we had years ago
met somewhere
and we talked only with eyes.

Then on a day, for days
they weren't there anymore.

I try to imagine their age
if they were old enough to be dead.

Like a ray of hope I love to believe
they moved away elsewhere.

Four men short and it will be five.

Maybe one eye will look for me
a little sad at my missing
just another man not seen anymore..

An ordinary man, a poet at heart
who felt more than could express.

He wouldn't know.

fingers glide over my landscape
smoothing out the clods
loosening lumps lingering in my heart
cleansing clumps clinging to my soul
rain whispers over rolling shoulders
wind nestles under hugging hills
gentle lashes patter on the pillows
twinkling stars settle
a winking moon waxes on til morrow
