Sweet Liar
Lena LeFay Jun 2016
I’d wait for hours
Standing still, without a moving
For a train that will never arrive
In a surrounding so toxic
Making every bone ache and break
Because I believed the sweetest lies
My favorite mouth whispered to me
In one of my loneliest nights

Charlotte's Raven
Lena LeFay May 2016
Charlotte wanted a raven
Odd little girl she was
Her daddy looked worried
"That's the only thing she draws"

He took her to buy a puppy
In a pet store five miles away
"Daddy can I get my raven?"
"No my love, not today"

He bought her a cute little white
With friendly hazel eyes
But Charlotte wasn't happy
Immediately started to cry

Her daddy got on his knees
"My dear, what makes you so sad?"
Charlotte sniffed three times
"Daddy, I wanted a raven so bad!"

Her father quickly started thinking
How to make her wish come true
"Let's name your puppy raven,
So you will get what you want too."

The girl looked down unsure
In the face of her new pet
And suddenly she fell in love
With the cutest thing she ever met

Years gone by terribly fast
And Charlotte watched him die
She buried him near her favourite tree
"Now little raven, you can fly"

captain, oh captain
Lena LeFay May 2016
I once watched us burst into flames
Like I wasn't even involved
The part I played in this nightmare
We created ourselves a long time ago
Was this stupid little ghost
A shadow of human nature
Could you stop violating my soul?
Pretend like it isn't that much fun
Breaking my tortured self
Into millions of pieces
All this pain inside of you
It feels like drowning in icy waves of agony
Captain, oh captain - can't you see?
You're guiding this once solid ship
Towards the edge of forgiveness
How comes, the cooling water can't ease fire's heat?

wolf
Lena LeFay May 2016
I am no better, than the wolf
Hiding in a sheeps skin
To linger in the woods
I want to hunt you down
Tear your innocence apart

I like blood’s taste
And I like how it paints

Red stains and white wool
Just enough to keep me satisfied
When your eyes go blank
And the smile fades
My hunger may be fed

Buried by Lithium
Lena LeFay May 2016
Raven beautiful night
Such fainting silver voices
Wander around - what a sight
Listen carefully once or twice - noises

I could swear I’ve heard them singing
Remember their melodic screams?
Their dull vanity swinging?
Anything that redeems?

Broken strings - painted red
Somewhere lost the rhumb
Take a breath, make a step
I guess I am numb

Choker
Lena LeFay May 2016
Yesterday you were the velvet one
Tickling my skin with your softest touch
Smooth and enchanting, you know I can’t keep my hands of you
Sweetest words, whispered in my ear
Couldn’t you made it last a little longer?

Today you are the one made out of leather
Flexible it seems, made to endure anything and anyone
Seductive, kinda forbidden, yet I’m scared
I try to go, you’re holding onto me
Afraid what’s in there the next day

Tomorro you’ll be metal
No difference between the shades of silver or gold
You’re hard to break, keeping me in my place
But oh these tears will look amazing on you
Glistening like diamonds, enhancing what we were
