I'm thankful for gravity
and all that is
I'm thankful for flowers and trees,
Birds and bees, you and me
I'm thankful for poets
writing beautiful poetry,
I'm thankful for their pen
and their golden ink
I'm thankful for the soil,
and so much more
I'm thankful for gravity,
and all that is

I thought for sure the day I stopped loving you, my heart would turn to stone.
But alas my heart is simply on fire.
No longer burning for you.
I just wish that I could set you on fire.
Or maybe just turn you into stone.
Decisions, decisions.

what you need from me
is what I want from you
lost without each other
so I need to be close to you
missing you so bad
cause you love me so good
nothing stays the same
imagine life if it would
how could something that burns so bad
make you feel so **** good
love without pain
is like water without rain
if you had one without the other
they just wouldn't be the same

I am only in one competition.

And that is the one for love.

And like all the other contestants,

there is only one prize I am thinking of.

So do not bicker, and scream.

Do not fight.

Do not become mean.

Cause we each have different prizes in sight.
