that man shall not be
speaking to me again
his rudeness of manner
is too much to sustain

my inquiry he didn't
see fit to reply to
so I've blocked him
as one is entitled too

no more shall he
be hearing from me
his disrespectful air
really bugged me
When do we truly dare to say that we know
someone or something at each fullest extent?
When we believe in it?
When we learn from it?
When we have proof for it?
What i understand is that we don't know even ourself
until a critical moment appears, until we have to make
a decision that will affect not only us but people we love
and our soul embrace.

Brain so active though
and my skin turning brown
going red at first
like an autumn leaf
going brown
and falling off my tree
dead skin shoulders
scurfin around
I shrug my shoulders
the new leaves fall
maybe I will get a sun tan this week
the brain wants to sleep though
maybe next week
For I have to work
the sun nice.

Remember when the sun kissed you darling?
No?
Look at your skin and the memories will come flooding
in our daily haste to not miss
sales, appointments, buses, flights,
we tend to overlook the world
that gives us all these options

the awe-inspiring heights of our mountains
frightening majesty of our seas
powerful forests breathing life
the elegance of animals
a pleasant view of cultivated land
even the buzzing habitat of cities

we may be only a small part of seven human billions
yet it behooves us well to be aware
     and celebrate
the fragile beauty of our world
Thanks to all of you who caused this poem to be trending - a very pleasant surprise! .-)

upon a ledge i felt this urge
to look beyond
the rock under my feet
crazy
is not a goal
a destination maybe
listened to people
some experts on cliff psychiatry
say
an urge to jump
is an urge to live
so high places
I seek
precarious
a bit
of anxiety sensitivity
some said
I look out over
the roofs
after all
down is where
we go
eventually

I just got off the Northern Line
Where no-one speaks or looks in your eye
Now I'm leaving Euston on the Manchester train
Leaving warmer weather to warm my brain

Oooh yes! my feet tap to music no-one hears at all
Mark E Smith and The Fall
The mighty Fall
Thunderous chords and Ringing chorus
Hit the north!
Oh yea Hit the north!

Rattling in my head to the rhythm of the train
Shake the southern dust from my shoes again
Hit the north!
Hammer it out guys
Hit the north!

Where you can talk to people without being weird
Or even worse, maybe causing fear
And those up there are really real
So I'm still listening to...
The mighty Fall

I recommend checking out the above track :) It will give you the rhythm and indicate what I'm talking about.
An innocent pure-white heart
does not see manipulation coming
from a distance,

It does not imagine such hurtful things
in its gentle empathetic existence.

It does not see the dark evil monsters
behind their masks--in disguise,

It does not recognise the difference
between genuine truth and shifty ***** lies.

Traveler
Worth
How aimlessly
We're measured
Wealth over health
Charity over compassion
Beauty over kindness

True teary-eyed empathy
Means little
A simple distortion
A white noise
In the background
Of difficult solutions
Not yet found

I'm sorry
No one can
Save you from
Yourself
So find your
Worth
And measure
It well...
