From the very beginning
When I fell hard for you
Running on feelings that I kept denying
Slipping into your river vein that drowns me
Tripping over your anger, sarcasm, flaws
And everything that you pushed away
It was all beautiful

You are beautiful

I want everything
And I made a promise to myself.
I want to love you till the very end.
It's always been you from the start.
All your imperfections.
I want everything
I want you.
(Read it from bottom to the top too)
This is for the girl whom I fell in love with here on Hello Poetry
And she's my GF now:)
Thank you so much guys for the love:)
I can't believe it's my second time getting featured.

Is it I'm finally over you, done crying for someone who probably doesn't think twice about me? Or am I finally that broken?
  Because that's an option too.

My heart's as heavy as the night,
Feels bad in every fight
All I want for us is to stay tight
I don't wanna be out of your sight

Emotions of me that were kept in a box
I can still feel the pain and it *****
I tried to do my best but I guess
My kind of best wasn't your kind of best

Rays of the morning sun
Encroached the attic
From a very notorious
Broken piece of window
Exposed the little specks of dust
Suspended
In the rotting wooden walls.
Some sticking in the peeling paint
Some lying
On her mother's once famous cookbooks
Now being devoured
By selfish
silverfish and fungi.
The dust
Telling stories of her childhood
Settled upon the rocking horse
And her favourite little music box
And a carton full of holiday polaroids.
The dust
Such a dry commodity
Moistened some old memories.
Reminiscence.
Isn't it amazing?

I wrote this little piece after a friend of mine suggested the word "Dust" to write about :)

A street
Illuminated
With the futile efforts
Of the weary yellow light
Looked up at the sky
As water crawled down the window
Casting feeble shadows
Upon a newborn child
Pink as a rosebud
Hair so sparse
Almost golden with a tinge of crimson
Who wasn't aware
And didnt care
Of the worldly pleasures
And the hidden treasures.
The childless nurse
Smiled upon each one
As her own
Her warmth
Her motherly warmth
Only melted cold the tragedies
That came with each orphan

A youth
Of love and politics
Wasted on heartbreaks
Because we let the poetry slip through our fingers.
Pills you swallowed
To curb your sanity
Were only candy.
The day I remember
Was only a death
And the birth
Soon forgotten.
life.

paper boats
As
This burden of breaths
Takes its toll at times
Conjunctions cloud these corollaries
For fog to float further
And away, and away.....
