One quarter Dumplets
One quarter aware
One quarter lazy fools
One quarter don't care
A huge percentage of voters
Pay little attention to facts.
We know that because we see
They ignore the way Trump acts.

They have a list of lies they say
To excuse their lack of civic pride.
That includes that **** in Washington
Inviting the enemy to come inside
And collect vital intelligence
Denied to the average voting man.
And that's how the current clown car
And this disgusting circus began.

This should lead to World War III
And/or our nation's destruction.
Our current batch of Republicans
Failed to follow instructions.
Either way the average person
Will need to search through the garbage
To make some kind of living from
What is left after the carnage.

There will be no school or clinics
To take your kids or your ailments to.
If you let them change the constitution
There won't be a thing that you can do.
And the only outcome that will be certain
After we are mashed into the dirt
Is that no one who caused the problems
Will suffer even a minute of hurt.

A time will come when I'm barren inside.
Every sound would remind me that I am hopeful

I am rain, hoping for shelter
I am the running breeze. Screaming, unabashed.
I would confess all those ugly truths,
about living and loving and forgetting
and be fearless, senseless.
aimless, being
just for the sake of being

Hey
I wonder how you are
A hundred miles away from my breath
A million feet out of reach
I miss your caress against my cheek
The light twirling in my hair as we lay together
Moonlight shining on white sheets
Feeling our chests rise in sync
I wonder if you remember as I do
I wonder if you know *I miss you

It's like there's a couple of words running around in your head and you're not sure if it's a song that you heard or maybe something you've read and then the words in your head become flames on your tongue
and you don't care anymore because they're your words and more and the more the flame the more the words came until you dried like the desert you are.

Apostrophes bother me.

Apostle come bother me

opposites attract.

even when dry
when you feel you could die
the water is words yet to come,
some swim in it
some drown in it
I knit a gown and go out in it.

What is peculiar?
if not then to fool you
to make you superior?
inferior?
a reject?
when you're asking them, why me?
and I detect irony

we'll all rust away one day,
plastic pins and hips and things
will be all that remain.

I like the words that stain the walls
that rip through mansion halls to
crack the stucco on the ceilings,

'be careful', someone calls,
but heaven falls on Angels and
their wings
someone else now sings the words that
once ran wildly through my mind
and
I don't mind at all.
Shocked as I was walking by
walking not far but also not too nigh

I have stopped at the greatest heap of garbage
No, sir, I haven´t dragged that from your garage

what I have seen with mine own eyes
is worth to tell but it´s not so nice

first, in this poetry, I have returned to my basic, my glee
the simple grammar and the tenses, just for me

they keep awake my tender senses
what I wanna tell ye was about that poverty

that had crept into nowadays poetry
lack of  green herbs lack of own precious proverbs

the green color of the herbs
can produce in the body and mind long life verbs

that may excel in all our words
so that awful mental poverty in poetry may not read as absurds

just keep it simple and keep it in its own realm
based upon good grammar and be not overwhelmed

"The ocean is a desert
with its life underground
and a perfect disguise
above..." Dewey Bunnell

On a horse with
no name I rode
bare-backed in
the purple sage...
***** Pipe cacti
played the melodies
of Mexico.

Swaying sea grasses
were skirts for the
range fences...
broken and rusty.
To be avoided,
my parents warned...
Tetanus... lock-jaw.
Other things to be
aware of...
don't swim too far
from the beach...
don't stay too long
in the sun...

I was happy at the
tide pools... aqua and
pristine. Sea slugs...
far from slug-like.
Flat and purplish
with frilly edges,
undulating dancers.
Picked up and dropped
over and over.
Baby octopi... an
entire tidepool
drenched in purple
ink in its desperate
bid for freedom...
Sea Urchins...
"Their spines can
****..." my parents
warned. It was
fascinating how
they attached
themselves to
the rocks...
Almost as firmly
as the limpets...

We had
Hermit Crab races
Ate food disallowed
at home... swam
out to where water
was ultramarine...
jumped over the
barbed-wire...

with our arms

hugging

the

sun...*

My family took a trip down to Mexico. We stayed at a ranch, camping on the beach. It was totally private, the beach untouched. Our first experience with total freedom... my fondest memory of childhood.

I tried to sleep just now... no go. Guess I'll stay up and be a nightowl for a while! Lol!
