Here I am wandering,
Wishing to see you shining
To give me happiness
To take away my loneliness.

But then when I started gazing
All I see is nothing
Coz there was no you;
By that moment, I feel blue.

But still, I kept on waiting
While fervently wishing and hoping
Until I saw a little shining light
And I know it is you, brightening the night.
Sweat sweet with mid-day summer sun.
Skin burns red to blister.
It permits no resistance.
Insistent on shining.
Eyes squint for shadow.
All to rare in this lonely atmosphere.
Rarer breezes blow to tease relief,
But all this provides for view beyond belief.
The city erupts in the Sun's Rays.
Reflecting infinite daily cloud-play off Glassy faced behemoths.
Every ripple sparks diamond waves.
And sometimes
this place doesn't seem so bleak.
In the Summer of 2012, I embarked on a mission to cover a bridge going over the Ohio Rive with poems.  This is just one of those, selected from now more than 60.

Poetic T
If my life was like a egg timer,
I would be born,
Have a child hood in seconds
My teenage tearaway would last moments then pass.

I would look back as the seconds past,
And think of things,
I could have done in those moments past.
Then my time would nearly be done,
My life has been a wild time of seconds and moments.

But the moments are over,
The grains have run out,
And as the timer is turned,
A new life is created
As the seconds pass and their life is lived out.

Maybe, for once, I want someone to tell me that they wont leave me alone.
Maybe, for once, I want a truthful response to my worries instead of a lie or silence.
Maybe, for once, I would like a bit of sense in a confusing circumstance.
Maybe, for once, I don't want to be treating like the helpless weakling that people believe me to be because suicide is on my mind at all times. I may be miserable, but I am not giving up, no matter what ******* people throw at me.
Maybe, for once, I want to be a ******* human being, not a glass figurine with diamond tears.
