Make me immortal

              with the very touch,

you woke me up once

       from  a slumber of millenniums.
Remember the time beyond time when you were a bubble
in the seething cosmic soup?

Traveler
In a clear cosmetic inclination
Of my vast amount of limited intelligence
I resolve what's known to sever the connection to oneness

With my passive excessive alarming calmness
I hide my humanistic conflicts in an unconscious state

In the compression of unreleased hostilities
I combat my unreserved civilities

In a melting *** of unreasonable measures
I find sensibility has lost its pleasure...

Trees

I am a peculiar tree
Growing half in rock
And half in the sea

The winter winds do bother me
I need the spring to set me free

I envy ivy trees
So full of green

I can't stop the gale
But I can change my sail

Death is but a fleeting kiss
Tasted on her icy lips
As I gaze on her cold beauty
She tenderly takes my hand
Leads me away from the pain
Leaving behind all the misery
Walking to an unknown destination
A new beginning from the end

Awakening with your
beautiful words
I find a grateful heart <3
When I do not start my day off with poetry I can tell a difference in my day. Thank you all for the words!
The dark purple muscadine arbors of July forever bring
joy and laughter at times , powder blue dreams in a simple , curious
frame of mind , **** moments of bliss , fresh cut green alleyways coupled with the smoke of lit field periphery .. Wild plum trees flourished , these red delights are forever cherished .. Collecting the bounty at Dusk with paper bags , eating our fill on the front porch , continuous hand to mouth till our tummies were full , practically never getting enough ...Concord grapes were most abundant , Nana would make a tasty juice concoction to have in the Winter , the sweet taste of Summer made available for us in cool November ...Blackberries filled the rural roadside around the first of July , cool mornings with straw hat and boots to fend off the briars , surrounded by beautiful songbirds seeking the same sweet prizes ....

I once professed my love to the wind...*

I had professed that I admired the way
     it had caressed my face.
The way it cupped my cheeks
   and combed through
                 my tousled hair.

I once professed my love to the wind...

I had professed that I was infinitely enamoured
with its playful but gentle ways.
The way it would upset
the serenity of my clothes.
The way it would engulf me cool
on a hot sunny day.

I once professed my love to the wind...

I had professed that I get addicted to the way
it would reach into my lungs
and abscond with my breath.
Leaving me asphyxiated for a brief moment
before mischievously
introducing new air;
hale and fresh.

I still profess my love to the wind...

I'd profess my adoration for the way
she fills my sails full
and my heart full of hope.
For I am a lone sailor
in a crowded ocean.
Sailing in a vessel bound for nowhere...
Traversing time and space
with my love, my breeze...
my air.
