Through forests of trees
Along rivers and streams
I left my home to find my place
and further still I ran

Over blankets of green and moss strewn rocks
My place emerged side by side
-To where I once stood

Filtered light focused my resolve
as though peering through a thicket of velvet
With a breezy air whirling and swirling
My minds great eye twirled itself within
Looking deep, I found my place
Looking inward, I found my outward

With you by my side
Step by step on each trail I wander
Teaching me still all the beauty that which I would
not have known

You are my teacher, my friend, my Papa.

I say to this "I love you!" still
with more love and honesty each day hence

Life is in the details and quite moments of soft reflection that illuminate the spirit from within. When alas the pale moonlight sets upon our weary bones it’s the mundane and routine that will guide us through. Not the thrilling and fulfilling of earths pleasures that we measure our final treasures. Its the eyes upon us with hands outstretched and clenched tightly upon ones impending loss, the toes among us waiting for the final due, that soft caress of a families gaze made true, a cycle of life outlaid and played. With a final view of life great success upon us, the tears of sorrow upon their faces, at once we, he, and she is now at rest and can gently flow with a hearts full cup of love and peace to that which we know not.

As I kissed you that night with your back to the door I should have known then that we would be no more. Along the days we had, I was not sad. For you were there with me to make me strong. Along the days and along the nights you always made things right. I knew then not what I know now. That not all love is meant to bloom, not all love can make it through. With a tearful goodbye and my bags by my side out through the door to be no more. Within our time thinking now I shed a tear for what was near and fear I know not what I thought I knew. Fear still, I lost a true friend. To make things right I am out of sight without delight. Along the nights here and there that special time is pondered. As I wander through the days and through the nights alone, lost but looking. Oh that time was not what it should have been, could have been. Looking back though I would not trade it if I could for it was US we were we and now we’re YOU and ME.

All alone in the dark it is quite still and quiet. Throughout the day we sit and breathe and toil and work the soil. There are dishes to wash, clothes to hang and farm animals to tend. We mend our hearts with work and each day further along we move ever closer to others that sit alone in the dark. First comes darkness then rebirth, you can’t have one without the other. Along the path of darkness one sees many things that frighten and scares them (I know I have). Each one is different in how to get to deal with real pain and real confusion. It grabs hold tighter and tighter it would seem until that one day when decisions are made. Though not as abrupt as one may think it comes gradually over time. With love and happiness from family and friends we hope the right decisions are made. For some it seems this is not the case. For some we disagree with their decision but for some it was real and it was right. No one knows the plight and burden we each hold onto. No one knows the simple act that turns the still yet frantic and frenetic wandering of the mind to act with each dark place being different and true to that which is living it. I hope you heed my story and watch for pain in yourself and others but know this when you get to that dark place, hold on, and remember the other side is a wonderous place of new beginning and new experiences. The darkness is just another view of the same mountain top which when basked in sunlight we sit quite still and quiet to reflect upon the beauty to see the sun in all its glory and everlasting power.

Tsck, Tsck, Tsck…Caged freeeeee, release the beast inside, a caged animal lurks in the open always hidden but ready to pounce, a gentle energy flows from inside to hide the hurt that builds, a crescendo of pain a velvety smooth demeanour shows but hides inside. Never open never hidden always there but never around for the show. A latch is lifted a dial turned to set me free.

Around the bend in the end the ones that knew now know as they have as they had as they did as they all were from the beginning to the end around the bend. Now they know, oh please release me. With thee by my side I am set free to be me as I was as I am as I was always meant to be in the end for you and me which set me free.

Hahahaha kind of fun…Tsck, Tsck, Tsck, Set me free.

Heaven and hell will tell a story for all to see. Heaven and hell will always be there for you and me. One young sleep or lost release, one another not to be found. Cause heaven and hell can’t be one but only two. One is nothing without the other, two are common unless faith is there too. Powerful this notion of heaven and hell can be to reign us in and maybe move us so this way and that along a path to the crossroads until we must decide HEAVEN OR HELL

I
am
am I
I am lost
The muse is the fuse that I use to fuse the two’s and the three to be free with me.
Along the notes heard are understood a common wood like natural instinct that flows forth from my soul as natural as the rings of a tree, to be me.
With each crescendo I build my words into a far-flung thread, which spreads my saids, my reds, my blues, and all the colours of my natural born varied skies.
Into a gem of a bard all the while in honour of the muse: the music of this profound great land.
Whether rain or shine, I am here with my syllables and letters to find the story of this new unearthed history of a peoples plight on this night.
Not to place a fright but to highlight the right sights and sounds within our shores.
As the sun crosses over our great lands with the harmonies of generations lost along the winds.
A guided tour in the sea of fog like memories to find the one true hope of those that stay and those that come to play.

What is this you say?

Why welcome of course, please come again!
By: James Zander Young, September 17, 2013

Oh please, oh please me, we have done it now.
Oh please, oh please I do plead with you, please. I plead for my life.
I don't want it taken like we discussed.
Oh please, oh please tell me one more time what must be done.
Oh Please. Oh Please, oh please, oh no I plead, not that, anything but that, anything else I will not hesitate.
Oh please oh please I can't possibly, I could not, I would not, I will not.
Oh please, oh please I plead you must relent, you must acquiesce, you must, you just must, I cannot do what you ask.
I will not do what you ask. I could not, I have not, I am not able I am too fragile and unstable.

It is too early…my time has not come…my time has just begun.
-Oh Hello there
-How are you?
-Would you kindly like to dance this fine evening?

-I am not to be missed
-I can really two step
-I must confess

-but what you say?
-No not that
-It could not be?
-but yes you could be right, I suppose
-Do you then suppose?

-Perhaps a carnal repose is all that must be exposed
-For this here to be transposed
-Well yes I imagine that could be considered a vulgarity
-but I only long for our solidarity of insularity for clarity

-Well ok if you should decide
-I will abide and subside to further yonder
No now why must you release that powder
-a discharge is not required
-I meant no dishonour

-Well yes you are correct
-Mais c'est vraiment difficile
-you must understand
-you must know

You will give me a start Won't you?
-I should say, that is most gracious of you!
-That will do then
-I submit to you now

For your pleasu...

BANG

Be still the night it is almost light tonight.

Little black ravens of death should not be here today.
Why oh, why must you be here today.
Could you not come back another day?
Please, oh please, let us play just a little while longer.
It is not fair, you show up at the most inopportune time.
I don’t want to be your messenger of death any while longer.
Oh please release me from my imagined immortal shackles

Please, oh please I cannot take this anymore… any longer… any more.

Little black ravens.

I just watched the most beautiful sunset tonight.
As seals watched me watch Cormorants head south for the winter.
Against the backdrop soundscape of waves lapping and flapping along the seashore.
The skies opened up as though Heaven were among us, the moon peaking here, the sun there.
Oh how I have missed thee!

Sunset at the beach
First poem ever written while on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Literally this thing wrote itself. I did not compose it. I t was given to me and I just described the scene.

No one knows the pain I feel
The weird journey within my nature
The reality of my experiences
That expectations became hesitations

The chaos of my mind
Stimulating enjoyment to the end

No one knows the pain I feel

A righteous act a fallen love a plaything from above. She saunters forward just an inch edging nearer and nearer still I feel my breath increase and my pulse stir. Damp droplets of lust arrive, within my furrowed brow. I do exhale and languish for the svelte god from above. Ever nearer drawn in close, a soft shading about her face, a be speckled eyes and concentrated bliss she is. Poignant and stark she smiles and creates her own light tight and designing with liquid legs and tangled expectations. She is a beauty to behold, to hold once is to be foretold a trembled hand upon her back a silky tough touch between her thighs. The auburn beauty finds her knees a soft caress upon her face a lollipop stare a thoughtful gaze upon her head. Held in tight he takes flight. An anguished release and moment of contorted gesticulations fallen spent he decries. ‘’’ Oh, oh, oh I love you. You love me, you are me, we are we, please, please me. Shining bright she readies her smile and steadies her breath a carnal desire now post hence she lingers lucidly with one thought in mind. This is her time her due. As she stands to undress, I note the beauty in her every movement the caution in her hands with great anticipation the wispy willow stands and sheds her silky svelte like silhouette and moans siloquis in pleasure and soft lifetimes lived at the pleasure and firmness of my touch. The pressing pin ****** and tautness tight silky skin begins to scratch along my jaw as I make my explorations of the coalescing curves of her most exquisite landscape and a crescendo of ecstasy ensues to ensure as two twisted tangled bodies lie dormant as though hiding throughout the billowing fields of lavender and jasmine raging a torrid raging flame filled field of fire. The respiteful rest lasts just momentarily until the action is forced once again by the beauty of her presence. This time soft slow and casual lingering upon every follicle though each were supercharged and trying to break free and burst through the pleasure mounds of non burden, the ecstasy increases still. They moan heavily and languidly like they were without care living the moments of moments in each touch and kiss, or lick, and flick of the synapses angled upon their bodies. They play and laugh imagining a perfect world and countless dreams are flashed before their very eyes as though connected on that level like lightning across the night sky. With warmth between her thighs and then they drift and weave in that nocturnal embrace once again reliving every caress, every embrace every flip, and every turn that was firm.

There’s a girl I know, with long black hair and a care about which draws you in, with long sleek legs and a smile for a mile she has been there with troubles past to match the batch which I just cracked.

A spirit to match the energy of Aphrodite she is a ditty without which I get giddy. For a time it would seem we are one again but then it happens that which we know best. At a crossroads to the test which way will we go?
Hands interlaced
Such a beautiful face
How I love this place

My hope is eternity
Or at least infinity
To create our city

A friendship blossomed
For us so awesome
A perfect twosome

My hope is a life lived
To be said
There is where two lovers meet
Hand in hand, Side by side

For all their days and then more yet still
By: James Zander Young, Oct 8, 2013

Tears of joy...
Tears of hope...
Tears of Love...
For a dear departed soul,
Tears we weep for her eternal sleep.

Tears of friendship within this earthly haven.
Tears of LOVE for evermore.

Smiles and laughter she did bring.
Music and dancing she does know.
A life lived, lost she will grow.
At such a cost, a life lost
Lives lived we do share.
Oh so pure a life lost lived.
Forgotten not, she will grow
in our hearts and on our faces
for evermore to us all.
A life lost we will know.
When prophets run…
By: James Alexander Young, Sept 28, 2014

Like a prophet on his journey
I wander the roads in search of my life
I gaze and I blaze a trail in search of that one special thing

That thing that is old as smoke
With embers releasing footprints of carbon upon the wind
While lives are spent lost and lingering within the narrows

The prophet he seeks his flock to share
In their splendor of adulations and relations

Upon his brow is furrowed years of wisdom like knowledge
To advance the one true goal of all who sees him

To which when it then appears for the rest of their/your days
It would be said:

-There’s Days lived Free and Long
---Where eagles dare to soar ever higher patiently waiting for the slightest transgression to betray the prey of the day
---Swooping down gliding ever so gently in a determined dive of so many ways like so many days past
---Garnering speed as the approach is thought to be completed
---For this day is over but yet renewed, once again in an everlasting feast of life
---Yet there she goes another day the Eagle now ___

---does soar ever higher, still, yet again!
By James Zander Young, Aug, 23, 2014

I know not what I profess
A natural born confidence
Has always put me to the test
Like two partners at a dance
I glide and slide at my best
Hoping you take a chance
To ponder my words I attest

For light and dark they all renew
For me and you
Says I to You

— The End —
