Blue pools
of shimmering tide
swirl gently
upon white sand

Sun-struck scales
of coral creatures
reveal hints
of galactic beauty
(classroompoetry)- music (poetry) I find in the note sections of my school binders. I can't stop writing, I can't. What is wrong with me...

Broken
It's not what it once was
This broken love in pieces on the ground
We still smile but both know it's fake
We still love but we're both holding out

Too afraid to commit
To somthing that we know could break
We can't live through that pain again
So we **** ourselves and say we're ok

So we love with our hearts half numb
Just incase things don't work out
Hoping our numb parts will be left
If everything else crashes down

It simply is not what it once was
This broken love in pieces on the ground
You are the sweetest of my torments.
You're the tangible torture of citrus
The bite followed by the ****
Fresh and unbearable in the same instance

You're the lemon zest scent;
Sultry, as I quarter fruit
In my hot summer kitchen.
You're the juice in the cut
As the knife knicks my thumb;
The sweetness meeting the wild coppery tang
of blood in my mouth.

You're in the twist in my chest
That exists somewhere between my heart and my stomach
Both organs being wrenched apart...
When I see your picture
And remember that we haven't spoken in months.
Like my poetry? Toss a penny or two my way ;-)

it may not always be so; and i say
that if your lips,which i have loved,should touch
another’s,and your dear strong fingers clutch
his heart,as mine in time not far away;
if on another’s face your sweet hair lay
in such silence as i know,or such
great writhing words as,uttering overmuch,
stand helplessly before the spirit at bay;

if this should be,i say if this should be—
you of my heart,send me a little word;
that i may go unto him,and take his hands,
saying,Accept all happiness from me.
Then shall i turn my face,and hear one bird
sing terribly afar in the lost lands
There is a girl in a white dress
that's falling for a man who seems so right.
What she doesn't know though,
is just how hard he can bite.

Behind his charming smile
lies a monster waiting to play.
A caged beast is somewhere in there
and it's hidden deeply away.

He howls at the moon as time passes
without his precious prey's folly.
Just how long can she keep him tame
without giving him her body?

She's skipping and dancing,
blissfully lost in the forest of his heart.
Like a doe-eyed child playing as the sun sets,
she's unaware of the woods becoming very dark.

The man's patience is wearing thin now
as she twirls around in that dress.
A growl escapes from his mouth
as if her exposed skin is a test.

The animal is ready to pounce,
he whispers sweet nothings in her ear.
She believes every word like a fool,
looking at him in awe as he lures her near.

There was a girl in a white dress
but she took it off for a man's touch.
How long is it going to take her
to stop confusing love from lust?
I was that girl once.
