and far, far away there is eternity
still, I am horribly limited, but
one day, my friend, I will rise
I will be on the other side of the universe
ilias Dec 2020
and as I caught myself breaking
into a million pieces, the sun began
to multiply
almost like glass, I thought unimpressed,

the scent of a rose
the light of a sun
the glowing from a moon
the dust from a star
the tablecloth on your table
the tree's roots cutting into the earth
a world behind a window

and the backs
      shook,

what an eloquent way to
no longer suffocate in the
impalpable sepulchre of life,
but to be salvaged again
