Setiap yang datang
pun aku rasa bagaikan yang terakhir
yang akan menjadi penutup
karangan pendek hidupku

Pasti aneh
rasa jika ketemu yang satu itu
kerana aku tak pernah kecap
rasa aneh itu
untuk kesemuanya

Cantik

Mata mana
yang tak akan bersinar
bila melihat cantik

Tapi mata jangan dibutakan
hati jangan digelapkan
dek kerana cantik

Kerana cantik itu
tak akan kekal

Kerana cantik itu
tak menyuap mulut yang lapar

Kerana cantik itu
tidak mesti baik
tidak mesti jujur
tidak mesti ikhlas

Tapi
mata mana yang tak akan bersinar
bila melihat cantik

I want to
make love
to you
but not
in the way
you'd think

I want to
brush your soul
with my fingertips
and slip in and out
of this world
in your arms

I want to
show you
the galaxy
inside of my heart
and watch you
discover each star

I want to
press my lips
against your body
and write the story
of our love
in sloppy wet kisses

I want to
deeply inhale
your wild spirt
and get high
on all your
hopes and dreams

I want to
wander the maze
in your heart
and hang
my portrait
over the
cracked drywall.

I want to
feel you searching
my soul and
shouting out
in joy at
every piece you find

I want to
strip you
of your insecurities
until you can
bask naked
in the warmth
of my love

I want to
paint our lives
in vibrant memories
of days filled
with laughter
and nights filled
with passion

I want to
have all of you
in every moment
of every single day
for the rest
of forever

And if that
isn't making love.
*I don't want
to know
what is.

A Watoot
Sometimes, it is so good to write an unsent letter.
I do this all the time just to create a release.  I have lots of unsent letters and I'm glad I never sent those things to people.  I've never been better.
I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of ***,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Today I let someone buy me dinner.
Today I let someone say, "you look pretty."
Today I let someone make me laugh
And show me around the city

But because I let you inside of my heart
Years and years ago,
When he leaned in to kiss me as you'd done before
I said "I'm sorry I have to go."

Today was supposed to be good for me
Because I thought I was ready within
When I thought I was going to let you walk out
I invited you back in.

Today I let someone take me out
And my smile became a frown
After all of this time believing I'm healed
Today I let someone down.
not always a big fan of rhyming poetry but in some cases it just seems right

Hello my beloved, lets collaborate
Each tender word penned in ink
Love is truly our inner poetic muse
Leaving soft silken syllables
On a page, where poetry's written

Poet and poetess as we write on
Our verses full of love and passion
Each sensual feeling, as we share
To our completed poem, near finished
Reveling our innermost emotions
You melt my heart, with poetic ink
