If I could control the days I'd wind them back for you, if I could control the tides I'd set their rhythms askew, if I could hold this moment in its place forever more then I'd give up all my power over time or any shore.
Metaphysical realism
I've held onto this poem for a little while, not 100% with it. :D

At night I imagine you're arms enfold, as it's me I know they wish to hold, at night I weep for words unsaid for kisses un-given and emotions misread, I weep for the fact that you want to love me, I weep for the fact that I am what I be.

Trapped on my pedestal lofted up high, shrouded by darkness, dreaming of sky, let me dance for you're enjoyment, let me pirouette and spin, release me from my prison it's you're jewelry box I'm in.
Alchemy- written from memories of my younger self and my first jewelry box which contained a tiny ballerina who spun to Claire du lune.

We do flips over the sun
And pray to land
On our feet

Stars on a flag
But they don't mean
Anything to me

I look up and they're there,
Sad as can be, and
Hoping that somebody  will see

Let's be Honest

Let's be Honest
We aren't perfect
Let us accept our flaws
And not call them
Anything more than
What they are

Do not call me
By anything other
Than who I am
I am not Godly
I am only human
With some magic
In my words

I'm not all that beautiful
But my personality..
That'll catch you.
I won't lie to you
But sometimes I lie to myself.

I have bad days..
We all do.
But I won't pretend to be happy
And let you see a smile
That isn't real.

I will tell you how I feel
Let us be..honest.
With each other
Because sometimes it's all we are.
We are creatures of emotion
Let us bear it only
If we want to, and I am.
I'm not hopeless.

Just a little scared
But let's be honest..
We're all a little unprepared.

To let go or hold on?
I remeber when your fists would grip like a cobra, totally instinctively -
but I saw your grip loosen,
As if you're fighting your instincts instead of fighting to survive

Flames flicker
Like they're dying
Yet they light the room
Can we take
Note of this please?
Do people
Become dim before they burn?
Before
They grow bright?

The Sun Sets and Falls for the Earth,
There are many like her
And only one like him.

He needs her to live..
And still she is ordinary.
Not even the brightest out there...

Warm, and so is he, through her.
Inviting life into his core,
Needing her light and spirit to thrive.

But the Sun, still falls.
Though not for him.
But because she does it on her own.
The second piece to "The Sun Sets and Falls for the Earth".
