Oh i'ld love to be a paper plane
Made by a child and tossed to the sky

Oh let me be a paper plane
Floating light into the light

Of such simple design
Anyone can make a paper plane

So please oh please bend me
Break me so i'll have freedom

To glide proud fueled by innocence
To travel as far as the wind will take me

Oh please oh please help me
I want nothing more than to be a paper plane

I was the world's
biggest contradiction

and
I danced back and forth
between the lines
so much
that when I finally decided
it was time to be myself

I couldn't remember
who that was anymore

I had a dream in October
One dark night, as the rain played the forgotten lullaby
Of a broken man who saw a rose strut down the catwalk
In her eyes, he saw the eruption of a volcano
A tree growing, branching out to feel the sun again

I had a dream in December
One afternoon, a blizzard came with little warning
White crystals attacked his lips
Froze his words before he could utter a word
The silver storm sung the sweetest song
While a cold, crisp, quite blanket of snow tucked him into bed

I had a dream in February
One early morning when the blossoms bloomed
Emeralds saw elegance float down the stairs
Carrying scarlet letters of atonement
Anyone could see the forgotten lullaby written on her face

I had a dream in July
One hot summer’s day, he kissed away the lies of a jealous guy
Mended the hole in the shipwreck with every gentle stroke of her tattoos
Now, a flawless smile lights the blue moon
As butterflies take them to a place, where love can never die

They had a dream
Of four seasons full of love and laughter
Dedicated to a wonderful new friend.

I'd love to tell you
That when you
Light up
My phone's screen

I smile

And smile.

That when
You message me first
It makes me feel so special
Like you want to speak to me

That hugging you
When we see each other
Makes my heart flutter

That loving you
Is so much more
Than just a longing

Because I think you are The One

But I can't.

Because then you'd know.
This probably won't get any likes or anything just *** it's so stereotypical, but that's OK. ;)

They say that actions
Speak louder than words
So please
Let me hold you close
And instead of whispering into your ear
I'll lean over
And plant my words
Directly onto your lips

has died

And tomorrow brings
Forth a helping
Of ham sandwiches
And chorizo rice,

And a cold glass of milk,
And vitamin pills,
And sleepy morning sunlight
Clinging to baby eyelids.

The world unraveling,
Yarn by yarn to reveal
A cracked expanse:

Dingy suburbs alternating
With shiny metal subways,
Flimsy straw huts,
And highways,

Schoolbooks once mandatory
Depicting every one of them.

The bell rings and
Suddenly footsteps seem
To linger if but for a second,
Encasing its victims
In a universe where time stops—
Stood—still

Still enough to wrinkle,
And feel the soft nudging

Of naked wrist against
Wrist-watched wrists,

Breakfast crumbs against
Crumpled lips,

Rotting umbrellas against
Sweating hips,

Oxen straining against
Grass-strewn rifts,

Coal dust against
Swollen lids—

So tolls the bell
And ends

I see you everywhere
Not the actual you
Pieces of you
Like your crooked nose
And shy smile
Your piercing eyes

And right when I thought I was getting over you
