in the heart
of the night
a slice of moonlight
cascading
beckoned

i rouse
its mesmerizing lure
gently stirs
a hazy
remembrance

entranced
from shadows i emerge
hearkening its echo
you’re dreaming
awaken

its shimmering light
engulfed me
prying open my stubborn eyes
in the onyx
darkness

its silver glow
enticed me outside
i stood silent
whilst glistening dewdrops
danced on my toes

a sterling lunar crescent
enlightening midnight
softly
serenades
me

wake up
life’s a trance
you’re
hypnotized
mesmerized

in an ocean of emptiness
i heard
a celestial orb
calling
and ne’er slept again

gray rain
A hierarchy
of hot
or not.
Equality
evolving
or destroying
traditional
beliefs,
a relief
that they're fading.
We're not finisted
there's a long way to go
this mountain of know-
ledge and acceptance
is yet to be conqured.
But we're all climbing,
some still dying.
Falling.
Along the way
because they can't say
that equality
is needed over
hierarchy
and monarchy
in society.
In an instant
A non-believer
Can find God
Through spiritual connection

In an instant
The devoted
Can loose faith
Through personal enlightenment

In an instant
The healthy
Can be diagnosed

In an instant
The sick
Can be free of disease

In an instant
The poor
Can hold the winning ticket

In an instant
The rich
Can loose it all

In an instant
Your home
Stands strong in the wind

In an instant
Your home
Can be overcome by natures wrath

In an instant
The truth
Turns into a lie

In an instant
A lie
Is actually truth

In an instant
We are born

In an instant
We die

Who we are now
Is a stranger to the
Person
We woke up as

Who's to say who we are?

Sometimes I prefer to be alone
Just me and my sweetest fruit
I was alone while she grew

Truly alone

She came to me
Her home was not the orchard
She came from trees
And limbs and twigs
Her home was not the orchard
She came to me

Sometimes she prefers to be alone
Just her in my hungry hands
She was alone on the branch

Truly alone
