Singularities merge.  Excess energies purged.
A concentric spread spacetime vibrational surge.
Till that deep distant BURP rolled through Earth with a CHIRP.
Proving we could observe,  and without optic nerve.

New physics!  We cried.  And all it implies!
We'll get LIGO in space,  Nobels,  and black ties!
Even Einstein stirred as the sigma concurred.
If the cosmos is waving,  then E is conserved.

From let there be light,  to electrified kites,
To lasers and mirrors observing the nights.
So let there be sound.  Let the chaos be found.
To the stars we ascend,  with knowledge unbound.
I <3 scientists.   This is about the 1st detection of gravitational waves,  for anyone who might not be sure.
We can't stop talking.
Languages are different,
but we share a smile.

Im sobbing these tears, but I'm crying to who?
It's this same stupid story playing out in my room
I never fall first, but I will always love harder
No picket fences, I'm a karmic debt paying daughter
Now the greater question is are you the lesson,
             Or is it me?
The chemistry was there, and witty conversation but soon it was replaced with frequent aggravation,
And truth be told Im not sold that you even loved me at all
I think I was there, and I showed you I cared and you really wanted to be loved

I love words that make you visualize
The intent of what the writer desires.
What the writer sees within the mind
Conveys what I can see in mine.

We,
The nest.
I, the twigs,
You the branch.
Our eggs safe
Nestled within.
Until the day
Our fledglings fly.
With open hands
We cheer them
upward.

Those delicate eyes
catch the light, glinting
'cross this fickle sword,
my evasive desire
I wish to see you do
