I love you
to the Moon
and back,
and all my stars
are realigning.

I swear ink runs through my veins
A piece of paper passes as my heart
I hold your hand like a pen
Press it against my chest to feel
Every beat leaves a word written upon it
Endless poems and prose
You inspire even when you're gone

Blah blah
Enjoy

Wow!!!  Getting the opportunity to have this poem be recognized as a Daily really means so much to me.  Thank you to everyone who has shown some love.   You're all amazing. Love is amazing and more of it should be spread  throughout the world!

"There’s something about you and this thrill of having no idea where we are or where we’re going. It’s alright, you didn’t have to say it. It’s alright, I could tell."

"Unplanned adventures can sometimes be the best kind of adventures."
Havran Jul 2016
There’s something about
ebony hues,
and how I’m terribly fond of them;
be it on cats, or hats, or shoes,
the sweater my mom gave to me,
the guitar she brought home
from one of her trips,
my bag that’s torn in some places,
or the hoodie I keep as a memento.
Like the color of your hair,
or the color of your shoes,
dark as a lightless night
but still clear as day.

And I know
you’re afraid of the dark
but I hope that the dark isn’t so scary
when we’re facing it together.

I hate you
and there are a dozen things
I want to tell you
right now
but I just want you to know
that I
will never forget you.
These past few days
just seemed so unreal,
but I’m glad that they happened.
Oh, and I think you’re real cool.

Getting close to people
half-heartedly
will only give you suffering
but alas, sadly
so does getting closer

Maybe, that's why
if one day we do
I would yearn for you
more than I should
it frightens me
to my very core
that you'd leave me
like the rest would
History has quite the habit
of repeating itself
