Demons (part two)
Rebecca Longtin Jun 2016
You
You were my Superwoman
You are here with me
"I want to help"
"I will not leave"
You stay for a week
Then you start to stay less and less
Where are you now?
What happened to you?
Did the Demons with guns scare you?

You are perfect
Smart
Beautiful
Blonde and Blue Eyes
I shuffle over
You look up
Our first second of eye contact
I see the kindness in your eyes
The bass is so loud
The dancing men and women surrounding us
Sadly the first second is the last
I feel a shooting pain rush up my spine
I touch my chest
Red
Now her eyes are filled with fear
The next second, she falls
We lay beside each other
The red gushing out of our chests
All because we were girls
RIP Orlando LGBT community.
I am bi and it stings that people are filled with so much hate that they would do this.

The Demons (part one)
Rebecca Longtin Jun 2016
Before the Demons with guns came,
Happy
Joy
Laughter
Real Smiles

After they came,
Sadness
Tears
Silent Screams
Dreams of Death
Fake Smiles

It
It's a Beauty, it's a Beast
A friend, a foe
It's an angel and a demon
A lover, a killer
It's white, but black
Calm, but violent
It's the light, it's the shadows
Beautiful, yet ugly
It's a saint, but it's oh so sinister
Happy and sad
It is Dr Jykill, and My Clyde
It is all of these.

It is a puzzle

Demons (part three)
Rebecca Longtin Jun 2016
The Demons broke down the walls
Now they are celebrating
Yelling, screaming, making me misrible.
They took over my mind
They took over my emotions
They took over my thoughts
Is this my life now?
Living a dead life?
The demons with guns took over,
And now I am truly dead.
What do you guys honestly think about my poems???

Do you see it?
Do you see them in my eyes?
Look deep, don't you see?
No?

Do you hear it?
Do you hear me?
Listen carefully, can't you hear?
No?

Well, do you see my fake smiles?
Do you see the tears I'm burring in my mind?
I thought so.

Do you hear the silent screams of pain inside me?
Do you hear me sobbing in my castle, forever alone?
Thought so.
