i was dancing at the age of seven
i remember dancing to a tune in my head
a song no-one has played before
with the words written on the walls
for what despair waiting for me from there
Well, who knows
just where,
but right now with the lights dim
the toy-like audiences,
i consider my own kin
the further away i get from my room
the sudden flashes of memories fade too soon
for what is on the other side
is nearly destroyed
scurry back into the void
with no lashes of foul words to be said
and never again.
the negative conjoined with the positive

far away to foreign land
off the cross pearl
settle down with the nearest knife by my side
and in the year of the plague
jump back into the heaven
you can’t get it straight
if you double track from hell
to make sure of yourself
in Gomorrah
the medicine man has the cure for your troubles
as we stagger to the next parlor for another
round of joy
but then the air gets thin
with the sweet rise of misery
follow the trail to Sebastian road
pluck out the arrows or suffer at will
in Gomorrah
if i stay here any longer than i should
might as well meet the maker
into the orange house
to where she said to meet
but without a pause
a light arose
falling forward onto the ground
to make a safe bet
i never knew what was to come
in Gomorrah
