Her skin was silky blue
Foreshadowing a full moon
Her eyes mystique
But full of life
Bright lights dance behind her eye lids
Hair golden brown braided down her back
Around her neck scales form a silver necklace
Her lips were stained pale green
She reminded me of my once beloved
I fell for her pretending she was you
Flashes of the galaxies is what I saw when we kissed
Milky Ways played in her eyes
She showed me shooting stars
And I wished on them for you
I saw her crash landing when we held hands
She projected scenes from her home world in my head
Like a movie screen
She hailed from Venus
She was outcasted because of her compassion
Out Blasted into space
Shunned by her race
Until she found this place
Pulled her from the wreckage
In my arms she felt safe
Loved me from that day
But my love soon turned in disgrace
Man and Alien
Betrayed his own race
But when I look at her face I still see you
I, she, you and me weren't meant to be
But unlike you
See needs me
And I need her
She came her with more then love
With a pre warning too
Her species wants to invade

Poetry is art
      Poetry is visual

Poets can see the words

The way a play write
Can see the actors on stage
       with every line he writes

The way a musician
Can see the notes dance on air
       with every key she plays

The way a sculptor
Can see the final sculpture
with every cut of their knife

The way a painter
Can see the waves of the ocean
        with every stroke of blue
                  on a blank canvas

Poetry is visual
      Poetry is art
            Poets are artists
       They write **from the heart

Drink cold coffee in summer
Drink hot coffee in cold

Go out bathing in rain
Stay under the blanket

Love is inside
Love is outside
Love is hot
Love is cold

Don't know how to tell you this
But your starting to become just words on my cell phone screen
Trying to convince me you love me
Even if you really do
My cellular connection is dropping so your messages is not getting through
And don't think It's you
It just hard to feel words on a screen
Your love is plausible
It just might be true
But I've succumbed to this distance
Can't feel the real you
If I met you in real life
I probably wouldn't know
Looking at a stranger looking back at me
Almost 2 years of unheard words
This long on a cell phone
To much of anything kills you
And right now it's my cell phone screen

Let us take a waltz around the rings of Saturn,
without making a sound as our feet follow the pattern.
Let us sway and forever spin
every day in the solar wind.
Baby don't ever wake up from these fondest dreams
where we needn't make up, for everything is as it seems.
Let us never return to the dead-pet freezers and the bleeding,
haven't we yet earned our right to be together without pleading?

Baby there's a cafe on the moon
and we better get there soon
because I'm dying here on Earth
and a trip to Jupiter isn't what we're worth.

Because that place is a heap,
and the coffee there is the worst.
Oh, Arlo.

Show me the road to her heart
Even if I have to play notes from a harp
For her not to depart
Show me the way
The array of mysteries
She holds in her strands of hair
Leading to her mind
Give me a way to freeze time to get it right
Or give me a machine to fix the poisoning things I've done
Show me a trail to pick
Show me a way to a woman's heart
Give me some tips to make her forget
The way I've chosen has dug me into a pit
Teach me a conjuring trick to conquer her thoughts
Who knew getting to her heart would be this hard
A man needs help to a women's heart

Sailboat on a purple sea
Yellow skies are all she sees
Lonely Captain at the helm
Lord o’er all her ocean realm.

Sailboat on a purple sea
Sailing through Eternity
The yellow skies reveal her ardor
Searching for inlet or harbor.
Where she can safely drop her anchor
Without hostility or rancor
Stay forever, or a day
If on a whim she sails away.
To search again for other shores
Unmindful of the ocean’s mores.
Sometimes storms impede her course
Fill her journey with remorse
Thunder sounds a deaf’ning roar
Through driving rain, can’t see the shore
Lightning bolts around her flash
As if to call the Captain brash
For thinking that she has control
Over purple ocean’s vitriol.

If ever she regrets her plight
When yellow skies turn dark at night
And midnight storms have lead to loss
She rights the ship and bears the cross
And waits for morning dawn to break
Sun through last night’s rain will make
A rainbow reaching far away
Certainly it will show the way
To steer her sailboat that day.

Sailboat on a purple sea
Yellow skies are all she sees
Buoyant Captain at the helm
Lord o’er all her ocean realm.

I've been saving up, baby,
for all the gasolene in the world.
I'll buy up every gallon, only to burn alive
whilst trying my damnedest to drive to you.

I've been saving up, dear,
to buy a brand new aeroplane.
You deserve so much more than just a flight, I want
to live with you in the skies, only... I don't know how to fly.

I've been saving up, babes,
and I'm catching the next train.
I'll buy a ticket now and pack right after I write
this poem, but ****! I already missed the ******* thing!

I've been saving up, love,
but I should just give it all to you.
Because everyone ******* knows
that I just don't know what to do.
