1.) Out of the one thousand and ninety-nine days that you were mine, I only regret three of them. The day Brian ***** me on that pool table, the day your dad moved back to Italy and I didn't come over, and the day you put yourself into this hellish suicide coma.
2.) If truth or dare turned two little girls into temporary lesbians, than so be it. Honestly, nothing ever tasted sweeter than you on that night on the bathroom counter at Tim's.
3.) I will grow up to be incredibly cultured all because of you. I learned to look outside the social norm after our late night dates on the roof. Getting high in your lap as you read me poetry, and played me Damien Rice's The Professor & La Fille Danse on repeat was more than enough.
4.) I always thought you were tradition and I was your French Revolution. But now I'm seeing that I was the revolution, and you were the revelation.
5.) You could not sing a single god ****** note. But the only thing I want to hear is your squeaky voice serenading me with our song right now. I promise I won't be annoyed, just finish chorus with me one more  ******* time.
6.) I would have helped you get to your father. I would have helped you. I would have set your mother on fire to avoid this.
7.) I threw up when I got sams phone call about what you had done. And then I screamed at him for an hour.
8.) I won't ask how could you do this to me, because right now I want to do it to you.
9.) Thank you for punching Brian, and I'm sorry you got fired, and I'm sorry your dad left, and I'm sorry your mom hit you, and I'm sorry that I could not kidnap you and bring you to our own private island in the middle of no wear.
10.) You showed me what star you'd become when you died, and told me that if I wished on it you would do your best. I know absolutely nothing about astrology and constellations. But your star is the one thing I find faster than the moon in every night sky.
11.) The last sip of every bottle of ***** I will ever have, will always taste like the last kiss we shared.
I don't know.
I just found out that you died on Sunday.
You took the right combination
Of pills this time.
And that feels wrong,
Because your favorite day was Tuesday.
And your mother didn't even allow
An Obituary in the paper.
And sam and I will never forgive ourselves,
For destroying all you photos.
I have none left to remember you by.

But I found your star in the sky tonight.

"I love you,"
One:
You are the first person to ever say that to me
The grass felt soft and the air warm
We couldn't stop laughing

"I love you,"
Two:
I'm a bit more skeptical because words aren't actions
And you're actions are yelling another story; it sounds more like a tragedy than a comedy.

Three:
Someone told me they loved me before, but hadn't thought about what it means. I trust you are most selective with my feelings. (A candle-lit dinner means more than artificial light.)

"I _ _ _ _ you,"
Four:
We say "love" as often as "hate;" they can be equally destructive.

Five:
I'm alone. I can love myself.

"I love you,"
Six:
This time I said it first. That was a mistake. You are only skin deep. You couldn't understand anything more than perfume and mascara. It makes all the difference if you break or are broken.

Seven:
We are collapsing buildings, screaming it one last time before we accept we never had a chance. If we had been trees we could have swayed in the breeze.

Eight:
I am alone.

"I love,"
Nine:
My love is for someone else, not for myself.

Ten:
I'm very cautious when someone says, "I love you." I've heard it before. I have only seen it through squinting eyes.
When it's honest, I hope I know how to care for it properly.

Contains some of the most beautiful things

Writing fiction, praying, falling in love, dreams, our wild imaginations, dance, Crying, painting, music, lying, and running from nothing.

The most irrational of all,
Is finding the truth
In something.

You
Your words
Speak to me
Early morning longings
Soft distant sounds
Far away affections
Lunch hour lingerings
Skyline whispers
Subway quivers
Caressing thoughts
Touching senses
Embracing emotions
Erasing fears
Coaxing smiles
Late night sighs
Speak to me
Your words
*You

Tryst
This is the Field Marshall, tall and grand,
Who bellowed at Generals beneath his command,
Who shouted at Brigadiers in fine attire,
Who hollered at Colonels to make them jump higher,
Who screeched at the Majors and caused them to shake,
Who yelled at the Captains to keep them awake,
Who squawked at Lieutenants to keep them in line,
Who wailed at the Sergeants in double quick time,
Who shrieked at the Corporals and made them feel small,
Who screamed at the Privates worth nothing at all,
Who stood in the trenches and will never forget,
When they ran a man through with a fixed bayonet,
And held his hands tightly, as watching him die,
They whispered to no one, *"Oh why, but oh why?"
An idea based on "The House that Jack Built".

Kataleya
He fell before his time
with a thud.
A loud thud.
Someone screams.
They gasp,
unable to speak,
unable to react.
Commotion.
Expressions of horror,
sorrow,
pity,
pain.
The wind blew silently.
Moments froze.
Somewhere that seemed miles away,
they see a twitch.
a quiver of hand.
A brave soldier of life,
our unsung hero,
claimed before time.
His heart stopped.
Their hearts stopped.
And then with the last drop of tear
shed,
****!!!
Another beautiful soul
disappears into thin air.
Dedicated to a friend who
committed suicide some time ago by jumping off the seventh floor of our institute.
May all the broken, departed souls
Rest in Peace in heaven.
And to all those who are in search of the meaning of their life and questioning their mere existence, I love you. Stay strong, you're worth it all.

Soft, intentional lines stroll across me
made with thin strokes.
They cut deep while writing
your name
with a casual smile.

I know I'm not supposed to,
but I kinda like it.

Miles away in my heart
Feeling your love in the distance
Together we know we're apart
Ignoring the pull of resistance

Watching the shadows at play
Hearing the echoes of passion
Closer we sit far away
Kissing in our wondrous fashion

Now as I look I can see you
Farther is right out the door
Messaging now just a preview
Of all our love has in store
