If he loves me...
...or not...no matter
I will stay rooted in his memory
I planted seeds of my touch, my scent
and my kiss....
My voice will stay in the breeze
Whispering his name through the trees

They remain to germinate within him
When at those dormant offhand moments
He needs a bit of my smile for sunshine :)

From the framed picture hung on the wall
Two faces look nobly down
The faces of my grandma and grandpa
Taking me to the times gone by

Smiling at their wavering progeny,
They retell the saga of their blissful life
A life of selfless share and care
Inspiring generations in their travail

Curling back to times and climes primeval
I hear the sound of their footfalls aloud
In a humble dwelling, joyfully they lived
As children of the soil with hands full of toil

They worked together from dawn to dusk
Greeting every new dawn with fresher zeal
Their hearts were securely fastened in love
And had needs minimum and complaints nil

Two fountains that sprang from sources different
Had merged together before their early teens
Through wedlock they had been customarily bound
At a time when they hardly knew what it meant

Had played together as buddies for long
Until instinct made them man and wife
When fledglings were hatched in their little nest
They worked together never knowing rest

Hit by adversities hard, at times they sank very low
But with resilience, bounced back
And frugally saved every nickel and dime
To meet the needs of their growing household

They tottered together in the evening of their life
Serving as prop to each other when about to fall
In their twilight years, ambling the corridors of memory
They reminisced sweetly the joyful events of life

Now they lie together in the same churchyard
Two streams that evenly and tranquilly ran side by side
Never once been shattered on the rocks and shoals of life
Making one wonder if their life is History or Fable

In the swelling magnitude of our life
Though trivial was their share
Yet they stay as beacons of light
Leaving a trail of light to blaze our paths
A century back, child marriage was so common in India. My grandma was only nine and my grandpa was hardly 12 when they got married.  They were children of the same neighborhood. They lived long and were happy together fighting with the soil and staying solid through the joys and sorrows of life. Life was not easy for them. There was not even electricity. They were ready to adjust to the hostile circumstances.....!

She cries tears of mother's ruin
"Look at me!
It's been so hard
All of my life
And I've had to fight
For my own patch of light
Still, no-one ever looks at me"

He turns his eyes to the floor
Saying nothing
Feeling stupid
And his words burst like bubbles in his mouth
He is desperate to say something
Anything to make her happy
But he cannot turn disappointment
Back into youthful optimism
Or bitterness back to hope
As she sinks into smeary sobs
Wet and bleary loss
He takes her home

He undresses her and puts her to bed
Then he holds her as she cries
And he holds her as she sleeps
He hushes her when she stirs
And calms her when she starts and cries out
When the dreams become too real
And he shall never be more than this
Never more fulfilled
Caring for her is his only purpose
Making her happy is his holy grail
Willingly trapped within her pain
He is nothing else at all

She carries the secrets of the cosmos in her eyes of light,
And tells tales of the constellations every forthcoming night.
With love that promises the sea,
And thoughts that churn the tides.
With a wild rush of grace she'll paint your world
The colours of her mind.
To fathom what she is beyond the subtle and kind,
Do you dare disturb the universe beneath her skin?
Oh wonder what you'll find.*

Dedicated to my dearest Mum, Lady R.F. who is and always will be my favourite and ultimate universe to get lost in. I love you forever.
Sixteen's glow
now the river's flow
I love to swim

tepid and soft
she holds me aloft
I float on moonbeam.

Love to hold close
snuggle my nose
between her *******

they aren't as high
but I mustn't lie
found no better rests.

No way I would hide
if not by my side
life feels a dull stuff

the unwritten rule
is she makes me full
so I'm never half.

By a simple glance
in a million one chance
we happened to meet

love I wouldn't call
not to make small
this undying habit.

I have been through your mind a thousand times.
Where most would run,
I choose to hide.

For in those walls I see the man that needs to be seen.
But is afraid he can't for he feels the world would cackle upon thee
Memories lost ebbed in time penned on paper to seek his line.

No one sees the agony in his dreams.
Stomped on used and abused.
Left to be his own muse.

For no one could see the depth in his words.
They resonate so deeply within me.
Like a sad love song, a final epiphany .
Holding your hand crossing the veil we sit together and weep,
in joy and pleasure broken from pain and agony.

The man I see so utterly strong,
puts men to shame in their dance and song.

Like a god sitting on his cloud laughing down at humanity.
I feel you like a midnight breeze.
Holding you close in my ethereal arms I kiss your temple.
Let the pain be gone.

For love resides in both of us .
Together we can face our mistrust.
I am here to heal and never to mock.
I know I must -
for the man I seek is more then lust.

Souls touching for moments in our years,
we have had each other for all these tears.
Unbeknownst to the spirit we sought.
Together we conquer demons afar.
My love for you grows stronger each moment.
Like a crescendo at the edge of sonata..

Born
So what happens after we fall in love
then I tell you stories
The ones that are invisible to the eyes of many

Then I grew old and reminisced on my weary love aches
the ones that got you here

Once upon a time the moon was brighter than the sun
now that's how you begin a love story
then I tell you about the daring ghosts

But first love her most
your mother
the months of agony are irreplaceable, priceless

My child
Love is real
you float like a feather
Then when you find your person
be sure to tell your kids that
Love is Life
=================
When you opened eyes
I greeted you with a Smile
It was not your need
But essence of ''I''

I don't need stars from the night-sky,
I don't need the moon,

I don't need any sunshine in my pocket,
All I need is you--my auspicious, priceless fortune.

I don't need precious diamonds that sparkle,
I don't need 24-carat gold,

I don't need luxury and extravagance,
All I need is your hand, to forever hold.

I don't need material belongings,
I don't need anything that money can buy,

I don't need cash in my wallet,
All I need is your unconditional love, forever - not a single day shy.

This is all I ever wanted,
This is all I'll ever need,

To be the undying love of your life, infinitely,
This is what I desire,
This is what I need from life,
to succeed.
