and then the two bananas fought
about which one bends more
together waiting to get bought
at the grocery store

"my bend is like a perfect smile
I’m peoples favourite type"
said the first one all the while
waiting to get ripe

"but mine like a rainbow bends"
said the other one
"signalling the rain now ends
and welcoming the sun"

and as i both bananas peeled
and with enjoyment ate
there suddenly the truth revealed
it's not fun being straight

We are all silhouettes
Wrapped in the tapestry
Of a blooming night
Outlines etched messily
Into a cotton wool sky
Beautifully imperfect
A stray wisp illuminates
Sings sweet like our
Honey bee laughs
We smile, always
Endlessly sunshine yellow
For here we are youth
Wild like dandelions
Rebelling against being
A common flower
We paint the word ****
In shining glitter
Send it to outer space in
A paper airplane
Then dance on crazily
Like the night is infinite
Dreaming for a forever
Something a bit different

Everything you gave to him
you can call right back at whim.
Regardless of physical closeness
a summoned soul returns to her hostess.
Some sections sullied if abandoned
can bleed blackness where they landed.
If a cleansing seems worthwhile
you can try another style.
The soul’s appendices when spent
regenerate with love’s intent.
Hues of blue that softly scatter
soon can spectrum when we matter.
Keep on crying to dry your well;
keep on praying to bind your spell.
Never try to trick a fairy, because that **** will burn you from the inside out forever. Heaven and Hell are here on Earth.

The day Acorn met Apple
He stared smiling at her
And stardust formed overhead

The day Acorn fell for Apple’s core
He tore the viral spore
Feeding on her soul no more

He polished her up
Ripened her fruit
He sprouted her seeds

A tree grew inside her
Acorn grew right beside her

Believe me the ringing from their seedlings singing
Made breathing seem easy

Believe in things changing
for better or worse
I will always be right here

On pages made with sunlight
Inscripted under starlight
Ingested by the firelight

Remove the screen to see
sparkles in a stranger’s eyes

True love never dies
And is brought to life
When rainbows soar the skies

the most beautiful glass hearts are shattered,
patterned with perfect imperfections,
stained with painful expression of
rejection
dejection
reconnection
ingrained in the scattered reflection:
white light sliced into spectrum ascension,
the pension of attention.
Yellow, yellow, yellow, yellow!
It is not a color.
It is summer!
It is the wind on a willow,
the lap of waves, the shadow
under a bush, a bird, a bluebird,
three herons, a dead hawk
rotting on a pole—
Clear yellow!
It is a piece of blue paper
in the grass or a threecluster of
green walnuts swaying, children
playing croquet or one boy
fishing, a man
swinging his pink fists
as he walks—
It is ladysthumb, forget-me-nots
in the ditch, moss under
the ****** of the carrail, the
wavy lines in split rock, a
great oaktree—
It is a disinclination to be
five red petals or a rose, it is
a cluster of birdsbreast flowers
on a red stem six feet high,
four open yellow petals
above sepals curled
backward into reverse spikes—
Tufts of purple grass spot the
green meadow and clouds the sky.
