Can't help but follow you
Wherever it is you go
I'm your biggest fan
Thought you might want to know

I watch your every move
Been everywhere you've been
That my love is just how much
It is you mean to me

Oh, I almost forgot
So I don't cause a fright
That is my wild eye reflection
In your window every night

It's a part of what I do
A big part of my plan
As I spend my days with you
As your biggest fan

I have a lock of hair
I bought off eBay
Would you mind if I stopped by
Just to authenticate

What I bought was ***** blonde
When I know you are brunette
Though they both look good on you
On top your pretty head

Are you dating anyone
Have a love that's true
Cause I could be that special one
That special one for you

I've already been on your tour bus
That was my lipstick heart in the back
In fact right now I'm writing this
From atop the luggage rack

Remember when you looked at me
I was in the 18th row
It was like we shared a secret
That only you and I both know

That secret being I'm here for you
I know you understand
You and I were meant to be
Cause I'm your biggest fan

Dream ***(LOL)

Have you ever really noticed
How dream *** feels so good
Makes you feel so special
Lets you wish you could

You try to fall back to sleep
And hope it starts again
Or lay there and just reminisce
With something in your hand

Dream *** can be special
It can help you through your day
You can dream about those you know
Or those who have no names

Still dream *** can be harmful
If you let a name scream out
Especially if you're married
And that name is not your spouse

Dream *** was my downfall
With my wife last night and me
It turns out I had dream ***
With an ex girlfriend who she'd seen

This dream *** has a funny part
For it wasn't my own dream
My wife just started yelling
And hit me in my sleep

My wife was having dream ***
And it involved my ex and me
I remember cause it hurt so good
When she woke me from my sleep

I asked if dream *** counted
If it was *** just in her dream
She stared at me with those eyes
And I knew I wouldn't sleep

So I took my wife in my arms
To make love so she could see
That it was only dream ***
And she was the one for me

Now what I didnt tell my wife
Was of the dream she made me see
For I now wanted dream ***
With the girl out of her dream

I closed my eyes and started
Then hollored the wrong name
Quickly I then figured out
Dream *** always ends the same

My wife started hitting me
For having dream *** once again
So like most dream *** that happens
I got no happy end

Roger Turner - Poet
Constantly in motion
Crafting a commotion
A sign of scared devotion
Of a love you can not lose

Lightning you must grab
Before you end up on a slab
You just have to take a stab
At the love you can not lose

Keep the butterflies in check
They'll want to leave and they will try
ou both have got to have them
Or what you have will die
Let them live forever
If you have them don't ask why
Keep the butterflies in motion
Don't let them settle, let them fly

A nervous situation
That causes consternation
Makes your mind go on vacation
Because of a love you can not lose

You both feel it together
Regardless of the weather
That is weightless as a feather
But, it's a love you can not lose

Keep the butterflies in check
They'll want to leave and they will try
You both have got to have them
Or what you have will die
Let them live forever
If you have them don't ask why
Keep the butterflies in motion
Don't let them settle, let them fly

Dark n Beautiful
Another year without looking in your eyes
another day, another month,
feels  likes eternity
another dream,  another anxiety
another night, another dream to be ignore
I hope that you know you set my soul on fire,
With your absence, leave a lot to be desired,
Time is against us,
Loving you is all that matters….

On a busy downtown corner
As the traffic passes by
Stands a man with a cardboard sign
Can't seem to look me in the eye

But he's going to live, forever, somewhere
So help me God
I've got to show him
How much you care

At a big bank on wall street
With its fancy marble floors
Walks in a man in a business suit
As his chauffeur holds the door

But he's going to live, forever, somewhere
So help me God
I've got to show him
How much you care

Every face that I pass by
I see you on the cross
Bearing all our guilt and sin
Not one of us should be lost

I'm going to take this message
Of love that I've found
And somehow share it with this world
So help me God

In a courtroom with its wooden chairs
Sits a little boy and girl
Their mom and dad are fighting
Their little eyes so scared

But their going to live, forever, somewhere
So help me God
I've got to show them
How much you care

On the third floor up in ICU
With a bandage on his head
He may not make it till tomorrow
Was the last thing the doctor said

But he's going to live, forever, somewhere
So help me God
I've Got to show him
How much you care

Every face that I pass by
I  see you on the cross
Baring all my guilt and sin
Not one of us should be lost

I'm going to take this message
Of love that I've found
And somehow share it with this world
So help me God
I would love to take full credit for this poem but my contribution is small and I added only one of the 4 stanzas. Two great lifelong friends of mine named Bob Browning and Ed Dixon we're the main writers.  Eddie passed of brain cancer four years ago and Bobby and I miss him very much. The reference to the ICU is a reference about Eddie. This poem is listed in his honor.

Sometimes the things that they do
Come from deep within their souls
Others may not understand
The passions that they hold

They will give their time to others
If they know there is a need
Volunteer to help someone
Get them back up on their feet

They do not ask for money
Want no payment in advance
Expect nothing to be given
When they lend a helping hand

The moment that we understand
They do this free of charge
Is when our lives begin to change
And it fills our inner heart

Sometimes the things that they do
Comes from deep within their souls
Others may not understand
The passions that they hold

Come to a garden of roses with me,
Serene it is fuller with roses to see,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

We shall not try to pluck any roses,
For the thorns dissuade any poses,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

We can't sit guarding the flowers,
Very busy in our mini lives we're,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

I'll set-up a flaming ring of fire,
Seeking fine protection for them,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

Let's care for the roses as if our,
As if our little & young children,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

To help us get them blue & red,
Give them all suitable nutrition,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

Their presence is eye-pleasing,
We let them be in our garden,
They are here,
For you & me,
But just to see.

I can stand on a cyber soapbox all day
Telling you nothing was ever okay
That you have a voice, a million in one,
Able to be heard from here to the sun.
So tell me what is important to you,
If you're smart, or a *****,
Or just have no ******* clue.
You only live once.
No, hashtags don't include
Your memories of screens, drugs and delusions,
Fear makes the conclusions.
Drop the key in the lock on your mind
From the courage we all have
Lost long ago in time.
Stop acting.
Start living.

Killing heat as if from a hearth,
Rapidly getting onto my nerves,
Insipid sweat is dropping down,
Passionately onto your pink lips,
I** wish the romance is for lifelong.

Generic Asian food dish picture, drunken Vegas selfie with my betches, #cheatedonmyboyfriend, picture of my ******* on top of a mountain on the only hike I've ever been on. Have you seen the gap in my thighs? Almost as big as the gap between my legs. Lots of visible beverages, this is our club! (no idea I'm borderline alcoholic). I want a real man #imafuckingliar
This is how I feel about social media.

Tell you about how I miss you,
All the time I want to kiss you!

But I seriously control myself,
I keep myself busy somehow!

Study academic stuff so often,
Poems each day I write for us!

Even you write poems for me,
But you must study ten times!

Because even you know how,
How important it is to study!!
For a brighter tomorrow,
For dreams to come true.

So please do not mind studies,
Personal experience speaking.

He tapped me on the shoulder
Before he had to go
Said I'll be your Guardian Angel
I just wanted you to know

He said he knows no one who went
That came back and then complained
So he guessed the place was pretty nice
And was sure he'd want to stay

He knew he'd see my grandma
Who had went three years before
She'd been waiting for him patiently
To walk him through God's door

Then he asked us not to worry
Said he knows what is in store
He was pleased with the life he lived
And knew God would show him more

Spent his last three weeks with family
Where he said his sweet goodbyes
My final memory of this man
Was the brave ending to his life

He would give to me this passion
But to the world he gave much more
The life he lived was one of love
He was the gift I most adored

A true story written with tears.  I miss this man who fought in two wars, was a prisoner in World War 2 then came home and served as a Sergeant with the Columbus Police Dept.  My Grandfather gave to me my Love for poetry. He passed several years ago but is missed every day.

Won't you,
          Come sit down beside me
Hold me,
          Love me,
                    and set me free

I've waited so long for you
Kept careful watch for you
Got my sights now set on you
Just need one thing from you

Won't you,
          Come sit down beside me
Hold me,
          Love me,
                    and set me free

Come get lost with me
Escape from this world with me
Merge into one with me
Release and be free with me

Won't you,
          Come sit down beside me
Hold me,
          Love me,
                    and set me free

There's a life that awaits us two
A life prepared for me and you
A life that's destined to exist
A life that begins with just one kiss

So...

Won't you,
          Come sit down beside me
Hold me,
          Love me,
                    and set me free*
