South by Southwest
Maybe some day we will dance
Holding hands in disbelief
As tears of joy
flow from our eyes
While the field of flowers
will cheer in salute
Maybe our eternity
will come to an end
And our day will come
to begin . . . just maybe

Just maybe I hope
beyond my dreams
Waiting for the one you love

My love is a great eagle
He flies higher than the sky

In the midnight hour
He comes into my dreams

And shares his stories
His delicious stories with me

Of his love for the earth
and every living thing

Beyond the broken mirror frame
Alice sits and waits
Once this was her portal
From all her worldly restraints
Now she sits here contemplating
How to get back home
She has has no ruby slippers
Feeling isolated and alone
How to put this life most different
Back together again
Can you glue fragmented glass
Will it glisten
Will it last
Until Alice can step back through
Back to the love and life
She always knew
It time
It's time
I'm going to be late
Follow the white rabbit
He knows another way

Everytime you bring me back from
The shore of infinity
Dragging my soul through waves
Sprinkling foamy stardust on my eyelids.
I open them
And find your shadow more pale
Than yesterday's dream.
You carry my wings
Your shoulders under my feathers
Expand wider than western horizon.
I melt and spread
Like a field of sunny tangerine
On your patient chest.
An ocean that is sweeter than freedom
Deeper than the blues of Pacific.

Like lucid dreams entrapped
  within a circlet ornately adorned
   A sweetest love conceived
   but can't be borne
    Trailing feathers
     billowing light as rain
       Starkness in ink
       blot reckless in heavy stain
     Strings strung taut
attempting to keep all in place
  Dream catcher sways
by the window, free and chaste
