I love the sound of laughter.
It is the sound of despairs defeat;
Enemy now fallen to the side with no ill will.
Chuckles Bounce back and forth volley per volley
Set match and serve has made you smile.
There is less stress in the sound of laughter.
Tensions easing out of our bouncing bodies.
Spirit safely restored with a strong sense of pride and dignity.
Even if it cost me mine,
As I take a tumble or make a frantically funny face,
Laughter is endearing knowing by hearing that here there is just for a second a little less hate.
Laughter can mark each moment with new lessons learned,
Or simply take away a tid bit of pain.
I love the sound of laughter cause when it’s good,
It echoes from stranger to stranger to stranger ,
In danger of engulfing the entire room.
It is ironic, it is unexpected, and it is easier than an ******.
Give me laughter or give me death.
Preferably laughter, please.

Do souls search for the light when they die because they never found it on earth?.
Why do we appreciate and celebrate a life gone when it was already there to love?,
we just never took the opportunity.

A list of "to do's' and chores becomes a list of regrets,
because we never really saw what matters most,
Life, while it is still searching for something here.

Tv made to many promises
Saying we could conquer all problems
That love would solve them
All that Disney sentiment
In reality it meant ****
Truth hurts and love is all the worse
For the losing in poorly using
One vulnerable heart
Failing find false starts
And arrhythmia
All fluff and hopefulness
Doesn’t mean a **** thing

Your fingers fly
Typing out why
You want to commit
Suicide
The pills barely
Do their job
But it only takes
One success
To find your death
Before you realize
We are all connected

You holler out
Shouting about
How the countries changed
Can’t explain
Why you want
To go back again
Failing to see
That we
Are all connected

You wear a badge
You wear a gun
I hear you yell
I see them run
The bullets
The bullets
Oh my god
The bullets
Tense and stressed
You shot him
And doing so
You wounded yourself
Because we are all connected

The fox news says
They are coming to take
Our jobs away
Our traditional values away
Our life is at stake
The terrorist will strike
Any day
The church says the same
Didn’t you hear me say
GOD ****** MAN
WE ARE ALL CONNECTED!!!!

What does it mean
When I scream in the darkness
Place my face firmly
Into my pillow
So no one will know
That I am crying with
Rage and sorrow
How do those two emotions mix
When I see nightsticks
Used against the innocent
When bullets blaze
Not graze or stun
But ****** our young
And they are our young
Every white, black, yellow one
Is our young
This is our world
Where atrocities occurs
Ocean’s distance from here
Where fear rules
Where violence
Never ends
And bends mankind
To horrible contortions
Where squads of Russians
Hunt the LGBTQ
What if it was you
What if it was someone you knew
Eyes tightly clenched
I scream
While tears keep flowing
Still knowing
That another tragedy
Will be stacked upon
The one I just read about

The pain comes from knowing
That no matter how much love
I keep showing and growing my heart
To encompass as much as possible
Without self-destructing
Without self-cutting
There are still so many people in pain

Weird words of working men
Collar wearing ******
Peacemakers clanging swords
Breastplates of hate
I watch us all get churched
On the ways of cruelty

I can’t stop crying
Cause love used to be
So beautiful to me
Two men holding hands
To friends kissing publicly
No shaming

Now there is violence
We break the silence
With days of silence
But it never seems
To stop the screams
And suicides
Children hang out
Flailing lifelessly
The memory haunts me
Even though it is not mine

Pale boy loves a brown boy
Sweet proclamations
Of their affections
Poetic exultations
Holding each other
As their salvation
To be loved is a wonderful thing
To be touched is a mercy

But fire burns to close
To the core of fury
Angry faces hide behind
Masks
We ask
For love
But brutality
Is their response
And now the saltine sorrow
Overflows
The ocean grows
As one more love
Is demolished
And the world becomes
A lot darker

Hate doesn’t die
It just changes its’ disguise
Switches out old lies
For the new ones

Wore sheets
Now you hear the pounding of feet
Hear hopes defeat in political speech
And church’s doctrine
For some reason
They have to stop them
From committing such a sin

And the cycle circles us again
Anti-miscegenation laws
Fade to be replaced by
Anti-gay marriage laws

For what cause
The perpetuation of an enemy
To distract you and me
From the real abuses of our society

When you let yourself
Be fooled so easily
Waving your fists angrily
Even though the lessons
Are readily written in our history

But the cycle never ends
The hatred bends
Like light in ocean
To blind devotion
And the hate goes on for leagues
This  was written a month before the supreme court ruling.

It is a lonely life to live
And I would seldom recommend
To the weak of heart
But for the hopeful
I commend this struggle
Stirring younger men
To live learn and grow

Perhaps leaving family behind
In the pursuit of the mind
Paying dues with isolation and time
Finding your muse rightly used

But facing a nation racing away from
The acquisition of knowledge and wisdom
A society determined to remain blind
In Plato’s Cave slaves still obey shadows
Sniping at those such as yourself
Who struggle to expand and include
All things within and without

Till the wanderer comes home
Alone better not bitter from the journey
Open and ready to share
Hoping the world is ready to care
About such wonderful things

It is fine to hate, hate bad ideas, damaging ideologies, suffering, violence, and greed. However, hating people, diminishes the hater. Any system or person that props itself/themselves up on the basis of hating people damages humanity, and decreases our ability to build a better brighter future.

She is who she says she is
Perhaps in another time
Her muscles rippled with a mannish gleam
And her labors where of the masculine
Herculean

But now she is feminine
Concealing her strength
Beneath soft garments
Concealing her past
Under a new name

Genevieve
Who was once Gene
Now is free to be
Who she wants to be

The rooster
Becomes a phantom limb
Split and turned in
Sleeping
How freeing
For her outsides
To match how
She feels within

Thick lips strong chin
Broad shoulder
Deep voice
I am fascinated

It never bothered me
In fact I saw it beautifully
Variety in humanity
Why should you be
Bothered

The night is violated
With the vowels of anguish
Lamenters denouncing
God given horrors
No man made honor
In carrying out death’s decree
Across the sea
Children going to see
What it means to be
A killer
Now wounded
Now cut down
Now see their tragedy
Slipping in the gore
And insanity
Of our society
They say it is just
A noble cause
I say it is vile
And founded on fraud
The fields now reap
The bloodiest of crops
Now the green sleeps
Beneath the crimson cloths
And the cost
Becomes a mystery
Accounts in history
Debts never truly paid
And the citizens
Get played

The naked is not dangerous.
Lust filling the eyes of young.
Full bodied stretching
yearning for what is to ***
or merely done
For the sake of comfort.

Not a foreign folly
But a jolly adventure
letting the wind and water
wash away the stress of the days.

Naked as the snakes
or the furless babies
breastfeeding at their mother’s breast.

**** and curved.
Fat or muscled.
Not dangerous, but beautiful
like Michelangelo’s David.
The **** does not destroy
neither does the ******.
****** does not diminish our morality.
