I held his hand firmly on the fairground.

There were ferris wheel and rocking boat
even a flying saucer
of rides worth a few pennies

but the boy embracing that unlucky age
had his eyes stuck on the shining silver blue
beaming behind the sparking glass
full with rotor blades ready to take off
dreaming a ride to the sky
past the high tent of the circus
over the tallest coconut tree
into the haze of stars
where to only lonely pilots could fly
for being loved and understood
and not questioned for the cracked voice
for the thin hairlines on upper lip
for glancing at the girls
but inducted into the team of thirteen
for perpetually traversing between stars
on free rides into freedom
worth a lifetime.

Poetria
Do not be afraid;
go ahead, like my page,
because oftentimes sad is
the only thing I am,
and if it is in sadness
that I am solely literate,
I shall be sad,
and when you happen
to give it a like,
*I will be unspeakably glad.
Like it up, if you really must.
No please, I insist.

I like to go down random paths in the woods..
And by that I mean not taking the true path at all.
Avoiding the trail all together..
It was then I found this old red house..
Forgotten and empty..
But I saw a light on in the back window.
So I decided to look in..

What I saw was a very strange figure at the center of a bedroom..
She wore strange clothes and there was a beautiful ambient vibration sound coming from the strange objects that where all around the room..
They were all glowing the same color as well as a stick she was holding.. She then seem to draw a doorway made of light at the center of the room..  There was then a flash of light as 3 more figures stepped out of the light dressed nearly the same.  They retrived all of the glowing objects and went back into the door of light.   She then put down a circular object on the floor and finally passed through the door of light.  I quickly ran into the house and into the bedroom.. The light door was still open.  So I ran through!!!!!
On the otherside is...

Bottle with color keys..
Shallow ocean breeze..
Songs of tomorrow..
Lyrics of the past..
Sad shade and shadows..
At the center of light..
And the edge of darkness.
Swirls the twilight..
The colors said hello..
From a dark shadow child..
Only way to speak..
To a being of the light matter.
And so the world opens..
Inside and out.
In all directions I go..
At the end where I begin..
An expanse of colors..
Awaits my eyes..
White light flower pedals..
Spin around me in the night..
They know I am here...
They know where I came from..

There was no sound..
At least thats how I remember it..
I forgot what the sun looked like..
We all have lived in darkness for the last 26 years.
We had to bring him here..
For what?
All he does is sleep.
We carried him all the way up here for nothing.
I left my family to bring him here.
Some loser drug attic..
All he cares about is his high..
" Give me another hit."
"Give me another hit."
" Give me another hit."
Well we made it.
And nothing has happened..
The sky is still full of darkness..
And they are all coming for us..
All I can do is go down fighting..
We light up our swords and await our final battle..
And then it happened..
A beautiful light shined from him..
The drug attic was burning brightly..
I then realised later he was using the drugs to keep his power in check..
He then shot off to the darkest part of the sky..
The shadow heart that beats darkness..
There was no sound..
He looked like a shooting star slowly leaving the Earth..
As he hit the shadow heart light began to leak in..
And then all at once dawn arrived..
The old forgotten sun shined down a new day..
Some people are not what they seem..

Past the twin suns was a place known as the Angels twilight.  I ride on my Lightcycle to a strong disturbance that emits from this beautiful place.  A planet that was once so full of light has been engulfed in vile dead shadow.  Creatures known as Behemoths have taken over the planet.  They have covered the sky in black shadow creating eternal nights.  Many armies try to no avail to stop these giant wicked creatures.  Many are dying and soon there will be no one left.  I then begin to play the harp of the star serpent.  It is made of sapphire light with golden light strings.  The song I play opens up a small hole in the shadow filled sky letting in the twin sun light for just a moment.

The next song I play is the melody of Secalos.  The song could be heard across the entire dark planet.  The fighting stops and all of the Behemoths rush toward me.   There were hundreds of them.  They towered toward the dark sky.  And then from above thunder drummed alongside my song.   The Blue star dragon broke through the darkness!  His lightning blue body shined like a sun in the sky!  He then took in a tornado of a breath an released a white pillar of light into the sky above.  All of the darkness seem to shatter all at once letting dawn appear.   The morning brought upon smiles and tears to all the people who had been living in darkness for so long.

The Behemonths were dying in the light.  Secalos then released a second blast made of blue light into the darkness that was left.  Screams of darkness faded as it turned back into light.  Secalos and I headed back toward the stars in different directions.   Hoping that this race will find peace in the lighting of their darkest time.

Special personal log:
We had set sail early on the 20th day of the second month in the year of 1728.  The waters seem tame and the winds sang a pleasent south song.  Almost exactly a day out of dock we encounter what I can best describe as a blue sun in the ocean.   In the early morning twilight a blue light shined from below.    Lightning bolts seem to emit from the waters and dance about the starless sky.  It was then I saw with my own eyes a man floating above the sea spinning a long stick made of blue light above him.  His eyes glowed blue and he uttered a strange chant.   In that moment we were all blinded in an amazing flash of blue light.  A creature now was in the place of the man.  Its wings were grand beyond imagination!  It was a dragon!  It then flew beyond the sky leaving behind ripples of blue light.

I live on the Hurdsfield Estate
To the north-east of town
Set on the edge of the countryside
And at the foot of the hills
It's idyllic in many ways
But with a character of it's own

For a start there's the H.A.T.
Which stands for
The Hurdsfield Assault Team
Which has existed for generations
With sons following fathers
They see themselves as protectors
Of the place where they live

There was one memorable instant
When two policemen entered the flats
To arrest someone several floors up
The H.A.T. boys gathered around
The unattended cop car
Whilst someone blocked the lift
They bounced and bounced that car
Until they turned it on it's roof

Now, I don't know if this is true
But it's said that Santa won't come here
Apparently, the last time he did
Before he got back up the first chimney
His sleigh was on bricks
And half the estate were eating venison
But as I said
That's just what I heard

Don't fix what isn't broken
Can't fix what never existed
This was a spurr of the moment write that isn't based off of anything (currently) happening in my life. It is a thought I've been examining within myself and in my relationships with others.

How do you measure
What can't be seen
The heart of a man
The in of between
The conscience that follows
When something's done wrong
How do you measure
The depth of a poem

How do you measure
The day you must face
If it's taken for granted
If it's given in grace
Or measure a seed
That has yet to show growth
How do you measure
What you do not know

How do you measure
The hour before late
The width of a shoulder
Where a tear is laid
The inkling of an idea
The moment it's made
How do you measure
Love before it's given away

How do you measure
The chill of the wind
The guilt of the pleasure
That comes from within
The sliver of light
Before the sun has it's say
How do you measure
The end of the day
